Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) looks like she wants to be anywhere but at that Uptown table when Joey (Jon Lindstrom) goes off during their double date with Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) and Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley).
“Oh, how I wish I could be one of you self-righteous do-gooders, politicians, and all those dead bodies. Literally,” he rants. The tension at the table is thick. Which person is going to call it so they can all go their separate ways?
Bill and Tomas Showdown at the Law Firm
In Friday’s episode, Hayley (Marquita Goings), the pot-stirrer, didn’t like that Tomas (Alex Alegria) met up with Lynette (Dominique Madison). The drama continues next week when Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) lays into Tomas, who’s forced to answer for his so-called actions. “You know I didn’t do this,” pleads the junior partner.
“My wife says otherwise,” Bill responds. “Are you calling her a liar?” This drama plays out on Monday when Hayley tries to poison Bill against Tomas. Will her manipulations work? Will Tomas still have a job after she’s through with him?
Kial and Nicole: Living Their Bliss
While the Nicole and Carlton vibes may be out of sync this week, Nicole and Kial (Greg Vaughan) are connecting on every level. “This is a dream,” Kial says in bed with Nicole. “My subconscious has great taste.” Kial was in the doghouse last week. Nicole must be happy that she didn’t kick him to the curb.
Hayley Feels the Heat
Hayley did her best to make Tomas’s life hell. But now she’s the one feeling the heat when she and Lynette meet up at Uptown. That woman has gotten everything she wants. Those fraud charges were dropped. And she didn’t even have ot pay any legal fees because Hayley got her husband to take her on pro bono.
But that’s not enough for the con artist. She will always want more. “You’re putting me in a difficult position,” Hayley tells her so-called pal. “I will blow your plan sky high,” Lynette claims. So Lynette does realize that Hayley marrying Bill wasn’t a genuine move. It was just another one of her cons. Interesting.

Easter Holliday Surprise
It’s Easter, and everybody who celebrates is at the Fairmont Crest Country Club, where there’s brunch and a big surprise.
“Please welcome Jennifer Holliday,” Anita announces to the room. “Happy Easter, everyone,” the original Dreamgirl states. She’s there to perform for the brunch crowd.
