Tomas (Alex Alegria) is taking hit after hit. Most of those hits were of his own making, however. He proposed to Kat (Colby Nixon) in one of the most public ways possible, despite warnings against doing so. He even interrupted Vernon (Clifton Davis) so he could make his grand romantic gesture in front of Kat’s family.
It had to be one of the most awkward moments of Tomas’s life. Kat took him aside and turned him down gently. But the damage was done. And when she bought the condo in hopes of making it up to him, he responded horribly. His rejection created tension. And while he came up with a compromise, it wasn’t a great one.
