Kat Channels Her Inner Nancy Drew Once Again
Remember the days when Kat (Colby Muhammad) went all Nancy Drew to nail Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) for trying to kill Laura (Destiny Love) twice? Back then, she and Jacob (Jibre Hordges), whether he liked it or not, teamed up to get the goods on Eva’s mom. Kat came up with most of the leads.
Unfortunately, they weren’t able to get anything to stick for one reason or another.
Fast forward almost a year, and her boyfriend, Tomas (Alex Alegria), filled her in about the mysterious Lynette (Dominique Madison). She hired Bill’s law firm to help free her from fraud charges. They did just that. The thing is that Tomas’s spidey senses are tingling.
Kat encouraged her boyfriend to follow his instincts. And in two seconds, Kat could tell something was up with Lynette’s story. The fact that she has almost no social media trail is sus, and Kat knows it. On Monday, Kat confronts Lynette.

Hayley’s Grifter Ways Come Roaring Back
It has been a minute since Hayley (Marquita Goings) set aside her plans to kill Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett). She’s mostly been on her best behavior, except for the whole fake mugging business. But something tells us that her dark side is starting to return. Next week’s target is Tomas. She knows that he doesn’t like Hayley.
And she knows that Tomas is getting so curious about her connection with Lynette that he’s likely to do some digging. Needless to say, she does what she does best and manipulates a situation to her benefit. As a result, Hayley tries to poison Bill against his loyal junior partner.
New Day, New Lead for Jacob and Smitty
The teasers suggest that Jacob (Jibre Hordges) and Smitty (Mike Manning) actually achieve some success on Monday when they get a shocking new lead. At the end of Friday’s episode, we learned a couple of things. Jacob knows how to time his deliveries with Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) on that elevator perfectly.
And that Dr. Lia Whitmore (Cecelia Specht) is part of the plasma ring. She may indeed be the head of the ring. Or just someone high up in the ring. She is giving Grayson his orders. And she has ordered him to start volunteering at the free clinic, where security is much looser than at the hospital.
Do Jacob and Smitty figure out Whitmore’s part of this? Or does the shocking lead involve something or someone else?
Naomi Struggles Without Her Husband Around
Finally, expect Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) to continue struggling with this separation from her undercover husband. On Friday, she turned to Ashley (Jen Jacob) for comfort. And when she met up with Smitty, he comforted her as well.
On Monday, a distraught Naomi heads back to Ashley for more comfort. Hopefully, the nurse will finally convince her bestie to come clean about being a BRCA gene carrier. Naomi has been hella resistant, but she needs her family right now. And it’s because of her secrets that she’s avoiding them so much.
