Naomi Versus Izaiah

She’s keeping secrets from her family (still), and her grandmother’s struggling with her health.
So why is Naomi taking no prisoners with Jacob’s brother? She should have no beef with him. Except for maybe that whole drama Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) cooked up when she made it impossible for Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) and Madison (Kenjah) to have their dream wedding.
If this is what they argue about, then hopefully, Izaiah doesn’t continue his chill attitude towards what Eva’s mom did. That would, understandably, set Naomi off even more.
Jacob’s Dilemma
Jacob (Jibre Hordges) is trying really hard to infiltrate the plasma ring and ultimately take it down. He has Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) as a reluctant source. The detective has upended his life for this mission, and being separated from his wife is weighing on him. On Friday, Jacob finds himself between a rock and a hard place.
Does he get a mission he’s unsure he can carry out? How difficult a situation does he get himself into?
Comfort and Blessings
While Smitty (Mike Manning) offers comfort to a family member, Vernon (Clifton Davis) gives his blessing where Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) is concerned. Vernon has seen Bill step up for the family during Anita’s health crisis. He even figured out how to put a temporary stop to Leslie’s shouse construction.
So Vernon giving his blessing regarding Bill shouldn’t be a surprise, even though there’s a ton of baggage there. But the relationship between the Duprees and Bill seems to be healing, even though they hate how much he hurt Dani (Karla Mosley).
Speaking of Dani — she’s set to give her sister, Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix), a surprising update. Right now, they are both relieved that Anita (Tamara Tunie) tore up the Do Not Resuscitate order she had been so determined to sign. Anita will continue to fight the disease that is ravaging her body. So what will this surprising update concern? Anita’s health? Or something else entirely?
