Grayson delivers a dangerous message on a day when the spoilers also reveal that Anita makes a tough decision about her future. One that could change the Dupree family forever. Here’s a preview of what to expect on the Tuesday, March 24 episode of Beyond the Gates.
Key Takeaways
- Grayson delivers a dangerous message that could expose him.
- Anita makes a life-altering decision about her care that will impact the entire Dupree family.
- Nicole and Dani receive devastating news.
The Danger Zone
Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) is in a tough position. He needs money to care for his mom. His salary as a lab tech at Garland Memorial isn’t cutting it. So he resorted to shady methods to help. He’s at least one of the plasma ring’s contacts at the hospital. The problem is that Jacob (Jibre Hordges) now knows it. And is relying on Grayson keeping his identity a secret from the people he works for.
On Tuesday, Grayson delivers a dangerous message. Is the message for Jacob? Or is it from the police detective? It could have nothing to do with the undercover cop and everything to do with whoever he answers to at the plasma ring. We’re still keeping an eye on Garland’s chief of staff, Dr. Lia Whitmore (Cecelia Specht).
Anita’s Advance Directive
Unfortunately, Anita’s health takes a nosedive this week, and it’s all due to that powerful chemotherapy drug nicknamed The Red Devil. In BTG’s weekly video preview, Anita (Tamara Tunie) is in the hospital, and she’s looking rough. It’s at this point that she tells someone what she wants.
She doesn’t want to burden her family with making a complicated, ultimately devastating decision. To take it out of their hands, she says she wants to sign a do-not-resuscitate order. Her family will definitely have some opinions on this move. They may feel that it’s too early to go this route. But it’s Anita’s body. This is her decision.
Family Reaction
With their mom in the hospital, Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) and Dani (Karla Mosley) get some grave news. Most likely, Anita’s condition has worsened, or she signed the do-not-resuscitate order. In the video preview, Vernon (Clifton Davis) tells his daughters, “I haven’t been able to stop Anita from doing what she wants a day in our lives.”
Meanwhile, it must be Anita’s worsening condition that has upset Kat (Colby Muhammad). After all, she has been living with her grands. She has seen up close and personal how cancer is affecting Anita. Look for Tomas (Alex Alegria) to comfort a shaken Kat.
