Dr. Monica McCormick’s predecessor, Dr. Lia Whitmore (Cecelia Specht), didn’t like Leslie at all. But what she (and The Impaler) saw was an opportunity to deflect suspicion away from the hospital and expand the plasma ring operation through the clinic.
