The upcoming week of Beyond the Gates features a slew of potential team-ups, battles, and parental smackdowns. The spoilers reveal Leslie giving Hayley the hard sell on teaming up. Ted and Carlton go toe-to-toe over Nicole. And Eva and Izaiah continue to warm up to each other. From the look of the BTG weekly video preview, there will be treats, tricks, and scares this fine Halloween week, October 27-31.

Key Takeaways

  • Leslie gives Hayley a wicked proposition for a power-packed — and possibly villainous — alliance.
  • Eva and Izaiah’s flirtation heats up with undeniable chemistry and charm.
  • Kat’s bragging about Tomas backfires when Samantha’s sneaky eavesdropping leads to big trouble.
  • Ted and Carlton’s rivalry over Nicole turns explosive as tempers flare at the hospital.

A Frightening New Alliance…If It Happens

Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) and Hayley (Marquita Goings) are in the same place at the same time. Could there be anything scarier? Up until now, these two have worked their own separate agendas, making life hellish for the Fairmont Crest crowd. This video preview and the weekly spoilers feature Leslie suggesting a team-up of villainous proportions.

“Imagine what we can accomplish if we pulled our resources,” Leslie pitches to Hayley, who isn’t looking impressed. Does this interaction stay that way? Or does Leslie say something that piques Hayley’s interest?

Flirtation Station

At Uptown, Izaiah (David Lami Friebe) and Eva (Ambyr Michelle) meet again. The result of this interaction is the same. Eva and Izaiah flirt up a storm. “If you’re looking to hang out with someone until we both figure things out, I’m down for that,” Eva says. “Sounds like a plan,” Izaiah quickly responds.

So, will this be a slow-burning type of relationship? Or will their obvious sparks help move things along more quickly?

Teen Trouble

Meanwhile, Kat (Colby Muhammad) and Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) are together at Uptown when Kat talks about her love life. “The way Tomas can’t get enough of me these days,” she gushes. Um… did Kat even tell Chelsea about their disastrous date that ended with Tomas (Alex Alegria) having to see a doctor?

While Kat’s raving about Tomas, they don’t know that Samantha (Najah Jackson) is eavesdropping on their conversation from afar. Next second, the action cuts to Samantha and Nathan (Brennen Suttle) making out on a couch. They don’t get too far because Smitty (Mike Manning) and Martin (Brandon Claybon) walk in on them and catch them in the ever-loving act!

“Samantha Richardson Smith,” Smitty yells! Needless to say, using their daughter’s full name means she’s definitely in trouble.

Nicole’s Love Life

Dani (Karla Mosley) and Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) are at the country club talking about Ted (Keith D. Robinson) giving Nicole “the ultimate hall pass,” possibly referring to Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley), Ted’s business partner.

Then, at the hospital, where Ted, Nicole, and Carlton are standing, Ted is clearly upset that Carlton and Nicole are growing closer. “Always knew you had a crush on my wife,” Ted spat out. “Truth hurts,” Carlton says. That’s when things escalate.

“Not as much as my fist is going to hurt going upside your head,” Ted claims. How far will this standoff go? Will fists go flying, or will Nicole stop things from raging any further? It seems that the peace Nicole gained from closure with Ted doesn’t last.
