- Carlton and Kial clash again, this time in front of Nicole.
Next Week on Beyond the Gates
There are only three days of new BTG episodes next week, thanks to CBS coverage of March Madness. But the show has plans to pack in plenty of drama.
Love in the Afternoon
Things look a bit steamy between Eva (Ambyr Michelle) and Izaiah (Lami) as Eva takes a page from Martin Lawrence’s late great sitcom, Martin, when she says the words, “Damn, Gina.” And then she goes on to say, “I’ve been starving for weeks,” as she stares at her shirtless boyfriend.
Izaiah gets just as flirty with his girlfriend when he tells her, “Well, maybe we should start with the appetizer then.”
Ted and Leslie
The vibe cools down drastically when the promo cuts to Ted (Keith D. Robinson) and Dana “Leslie” Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant). “Stop crossing the line,” Ted yells at his ex. What did Leslie do this time? And who wants to take bets that she won’t listen to what he says?
Wedding Woes
Next, Dani (Karla Mosley, who celebrated BTG’s one-year anniversary with a co-star) sounds livid when she delivers news to Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) and Kat (Colby Muhammad). “You two are not going to believe who has been hijacking our wedding plans!” “Who?” Chelsea and Kat inquire simultaneously.
Will this be a major or minor bump in the road on the way to getting Chelsea and Madison (Kenjah) married?
Nicole Plays Referee
Meanwhile, Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) isn’t happy either. Because she has to scold two grown men by reminding them that she is “a grown woman.” Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley) must think that Nicole is only talking to Kial (Greg Vaughan). “Why don’t you give her some space?” he advises Kial. The orthopedist responds, “I will when I am good and ready.”
Nicole’s dating life is quickly turning chaotic.
A Shouse Roadblock
Finally, Leslie and Eva receive some bad news at Orphey Gene’s. “Construction on your house has been shut down.” Vernon (Clifton Davis) enlisting Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) to help stop Leslie’s constant noise pollution must have worked. For now.
“You better not mean it,” Leslie says. Knowing her, she will find a way to get around Bill’s pesky loophole. It’s just a matter of time.
