Weekly Recaps: August 17-21, 2026

Monday, August 17 – Episode #348
Tensions mounted between Tomas (Alex Alegria) and Naomi (Arielle Prepetit). Tomas delivered a case file to Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) at the hospital, who was appreciative. While Tomas was there, Vernon (Clifton Davis) entered the room. After Tomas left, Vernon and Bill talked. Vernon made sure that Bill was okay.

But ultimately, he was there to confront Bill over his attachment to Dani. He wanted to know about his intentions with his ex-wife. Bill insisted he was all about Hayley (Marquita Goings). Vernon wasn’t so sure. Later, he told Anita (Tamara Tunie) about his conversation with Bill. They agreed that they had talked to Dani (Karla Mosley) and now Bill. And that’s all they could do.

Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) and Kat (Colby Nixon) stopped by Anita’s and showed her the new handbag Chelsea designed that they wanted to name after Nicole. Unfortunately, a competitor had already dropped a Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) bag. So they were thinking of calling the bag, “The Nikki.”

Anita cautioned them because that nickname conjured up bad vibes. That’s the name Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) has repeatedly called Nicole. Anita’s advice was to talk to Kat’s mom up front before they decided to go with it.

Jacob (Jibre Hordges) and Izaiah (Lami) met up at Uptown, where the brothers talked about Naomi and Bill. And Izaiah gave an update on Eva (Ambyr Michelle) and her struggles. Over at Caffeine Fix, Tomas talked to Kat about taking time for them in the afternoon. But Kat was too excited about work to say yes. She felt inspired and wanted to keep working.

A dejected Tomas left. But when Izaiah showed up later, he and Kat had a fun talk. It was clear that he was a fan of ChelseaKat’s handbags — he had gotten one for his mom. And Kat gave him a preview of the company’s new purse. Chelsea visited Bill in the hospital. She checked on him and spoke unkindly about Hayley. But Bill told her Hayely was currently doing something charitable elsewhere in the hospital.

Meanwhile, Andre (Sean Freeman) was pulled down by his past when he came face-to-face with Heather Wallach (Ashley Jones). The two reconnected. Heather reflected on his jet-setting playboy ways. She admitted to sending Dani the bottle of champagne. The two talked about London and their past.

And even though Heather was flirty — she kissed Andre — Andre made sure to tell her he was married and no longer the guy she knew in London. He skedaddled out of there as soon as he could. But the rendezvous messed with his head, and he ended up at Uptown, where Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) served him drinks. Jacob gave Andre some words to think about regarding the Bill-Dani dynamic. Finally, Andre remained on edge until Dani arrived and took him home.

Tuesday, August 18 – Episode #349
Bill was impatient about being in the hospital, especially after Nurses Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) and Ashley (Jen Jacob) broke up Bill and Hayley as they tried to connect in his hospital bed. Every time they did, it sent his heart rate racing. But they didn’t listen and, as a result, Ashley called security on Hayley and had her thrown out of the hospital for the day.

Martin (Brandon Claybon) and his team won the charity basketball game, even though Smitty’s game was a total bust. But Ted (Keith D. Robinson), Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley), and Kial (Greg Vaughan) helped bring the win home for the congressman.

Of course, there was locker room talk. Carlton told Ted that he and Nicole were no longer seeing each other. He removed himself from the situation. Ted confessed that he was never okay with Carlton dating his ex-wife anyway. Carlton realized that if he and Nicole were meant to be, they would have gotten together a long time ago.

In the country club’s dining room, Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) told Nicole about Joey’s sister Heather. That Joey (Jon Lindstrom) had warned her against becoming close to Heather. But she didn’t see it. She felt Heather was fun, and she had met Dani, and she had thought so, too. Nicole suggested that maybe Vanessa should listen to what Joey had to say. He’s known her for his whole life. Then Vanessa headed to the casino, while Kial joined Nicole at the table.

Kial and Nicole wanted to commemorate their exclusivity. Kial asked if she would join him at his son’s open mic night performance. As for Vanessa and Joey, the casino owner once again refused to tell his partner why he has such a problem with his sister. Vanessa finally had to accept that Joey won’t let her know everything about Heather.

Eva tried to talk sense into her mother. She wanted Leslie to realize that she and Ted would never happen. And she also wanted to know whether Marcel (Darryl W. Handy) would show up for her. He hadn’t been around lately, after all. Eva gave Leslie some tough love.

While they were talking, Ted arrived and let them know he was there to see Shanice. Leslie was forced to watch Ted and Shanice talk. Ted told Shanice that he wanted to take the next steps with Shanice. He wanted to meet her brothers. Meanwhile, Leslie called up Marcel and left a message that she wanted him to put some effort into their relationship.

Finally, at home, Martin and Smitty (Mike Manning) spent time together, with no teens in sight. Martin brought up going on an exotic vacation again, just the two of them. Smitty had to disappoint his husband when he told them that he couldn’t go anywhere, at least not until he found out the identity of The Impaler.

Wednesday, August 19 – Episode #350
After Noah (Nick Hagelin) was unable to get a spot on Uptown’s open mic night, Nicole gave him a personal open mic opportunity in her home. Vanessa, Deanna (Angela Fairley), Vernon, and Anita were the guests who watched Kial’s son perform a love song. Noah was super nervous in Anita’s presence. But he didn’t need to be. Anita liked his performance and offered to mentor him.

Dani treated Andre to an interesting evening in their home. She bought some adult coloring books designed to get them to reconnect and start a conversation. They did talk. In fact, they apologized to each other. Dani’s mea culpa was for prioritizing Bill’s needs ahead of her husband’s. While Andre said he was sorry for drinking his feelings away instead of coming home to talk. But underneath it all, the two continued to keep secrets from each other.

Meanwhile, Shanice and Ashley learned they weren’t in trouble for separating Bill and Hayley and for kicking Hayley out of the hospital. Monica (Iona Morris) apparently backed them up when she talked to the husband and wife. Naomi arrived for a girls’ night with Ashley. However, it turned out to be much more. Jacob arranged for a surprise party at Ashley’s to cheer Naomi up. And it included Grayson.

Izaiah stopped by Joey’s to talk about their past and how Joey had saved his life back in the day. Eva waited for him at Orphey Gene’s. She was there when Marcel and Leslie arrived on a date. Eva overheard their conversation as Marcel asked Leslie to move onto his boat wth him. Leslie didn’t appreciate the grand gesture.

She told him she was not a boat person. When Marcel made up an excuse to leave the table, Eva talked sense into her mom one more time. Leslie apologized to Marcel when he returned. And she sang a song for him as her own grand gesture.

Thursday, August 20 – Episode #351
Back at Leslie’s hotel room, things between Leslie and Marcel imploded. He didn’t understand why she would want to live in the hotel room instead of on the boat with him. She loved living the high life. It was what she deserved. She then ended whatever she had going on with Marcel.

This sudden development triggered Leslie’s memories of when she first started connecting with Ted. In flashbacks, we saw her as a bartender. She had to remind Ted they had crossed paths before. But we saw them get closer and closer. It was basically an emotional affair until it became a full-blown love affair.

In the present, Eva lamented to Izaiah that her mother would never get over Ted, while Izaiah revealed more about his past when Joey had saved him. At the hospital, Bill and Ted bonded over their shared history. They talked about the past, and there was even a flashback in which Bill had tried to stop Ted from leaving to meet Leslie. But Ted went anyway and began cheating on his wife in full force.

When Kial accidentally broke a glass while helping Nicole clean up after her impromptu home open mic night, Nicole freaked out a little. The glass represented a time when she and Ted were together and happy. She also opened up about meeting Kial and how happy she was that they met when they met.

In the present, Marcel ended up having a drink at Uptown with Grayson serving him. Leslie took a champagne bottle and two glasses over to Ted’s hotel room, and nobody answered when she knocked. She left the champagne there and ended up at Uptown after Marcel left. She took a spot at the bar.

Grayson thanked her for offering him the job at the clinic even though he didn’t take it. He even made a drink she had created back in the day — Black Magic — and they drank together. Leslie also made a phone call to someone she said she could always count on.

Friday, August 21 – Episode #352
Chelsea had a nightmare on what turned out to be the one-year anniversary of when Allison (Brianna Roberts) had kidnapped her. Madison (Kenjah) returned from her trip and comforted her. Chelsea’s parents texted her because they knew she wouldn’t want them making a fuss over her in person.

At Uptown, while talking to Kat about business, Chelsea was really creeped out, especially after she received phone calls from an unknown number. The caller hung up after Chelsea answered. Then, another time, when Kat had answered. Chelsea thought it could be Allison who called.

Hayley visited Bill for the first time after being thrown out of the hospital. There were conditions, however. And Bill didn’t want to stand for it. He wanted out of the hospital sooner rather than later. Hayley got into it with Ashley a couple of times, including when she left to go get Bill’s laptop from his office.

At Orphey Gene’s, Heather ran into Dani and Andre, which immediately set Andre on edge. He realized that Heather and Dani knew each other. Dani invited Heather to sit with them while she waited for her food. While the trio chatted, Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) arrived. He was clearly tailing Heather. While he was keeping an eye on Joey’s sister, Hayley called and wanted to meet.

The two talked at Caffeine Fix. Hayley gave Randy an update. They decided that what they wanted to happen in St. Bart’s would have to happen in Fairmont Crest once Bill was released from the hospital. Hayley said she was invigorated, and she wanted to make this happen more than ever. But it would be harder now that Bill has a pacemaker. But she will be ready to give him a megadose of the toxin.

Tomas called up Madison and asked her to meet at Bill’s office. It turned out that Mike Davis (Pierce Lackey) had arranged to meet about Madison’s case through Tomas. He did this even though Tomas wasn’t involved in the case. Naomi was thrown for a loop when she found out. And when Mke arrived, he said he wanted a settlement.

Naomi said she would talk it over with Madison, but would advise her to pass. Tomas undermined Naomi by saying they should at least consider the offer. He practically had Madison convinced to settle, but Naomi talked her out of it. Naomi filled her dad in on the way Tomas had acted. And Bill lit into Tomas over it. He told his junior partner to stay in his lane.

Dani and Hayley got into it in Bill’s office. Meanwhile, Andre stopped by Heather’s hotel room. She knew he would come. Andre tried to convince his ex that he was in love with Dani and that she needed to stay away from her. Heather said she would, but she would need something from him. Probably that incriminating photo.
