Chelsea’s Mystery Caller
Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) is spooked. It has been one year since Allison (Brianna Roberts) kidnapped her, and she’s feeling triggered…with very good reason. “These calls aren’t a weird coincidence,” Chelsea tells Kat (Colby Nixon). “I know they aren’t.”
Chelsea’s fears have Kat concerned. So much so that she pays a visit to the precinct where she talks to Jacob (Jibre Hordges). She drops a theory in his lap. “Jacob, what if Allison escaped?”
Eva Gets Territorial with Izaiah
Eva (Ambyr Michelle) and Kat are forever linked because A) they are half-sisters, and B) Kat donated part of her liver to Eva. But the two may never be completely okay with each other. Next week, Eva walks into Orphey Gene’s and sees Izaiah (Lami) and Kat laughing and having fun.
“Hi, Kat!” Eva exclaims, and the next second she kisses Izaiah, a gesture that screams, ‘This is my man.’ Yup, Eva’s acting territorial and jealous, but does she really need to worry?
Bill Spots Hayley and Randy at Uptown
Over at Uptown, it’s Hayley (Marquita Goings) and Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) who are talking about killing Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) and having fun while doing so. “Any luck? I mean, he’ll have stopped breathing by the time I get back,” Hayley says as she and Randy start laughing. They are both undoubtedly having visions of that ten-million-dollar life insurance payout.
Meanwhile, Bill spies them from afar. He’s outside of Uptown looking in through the window. And the expression on his face isn’t pleasant. He probably has voices in his head telling him that Hayley and Randy are having an affair. That’s what his daughters and ex-wife have been telling him. The truth is so much worse.
Hayley and Dani Clash AGAIN
Cut to Dani (Karla Mosley) and Hayley in Bill’s office at the law firm. They are ready for round 100 of the Hayley-versus-Dani game. “You couldn’t possibly understand what Andre and I have because it’s rooted in love,” Dani says.
Hayley isn’t buying what Dani is selling. “So rooted that you’re constantly sniffing around my marriage and my man,” she counters.
Andre Has a Heather Problem
Andre’s past has come roaring back in the form of Heather Wallach (Ashley Jones). Andre (Sean Freeman) now knows that Heather has met up with Dani a couple of times. Heather’s getting close. Too close for Andre’s comfort. “Are you in trouble, Andre?” Uncle Ted (Keith D. Robinson) asks his nephew.
Unsurprisingly, Andre and Heather are destined for another hotel room confrontation. “I knew you wouldn’t be able to stay away,” Heather says from the door of her room.
The action then cuts to a close-up of a phone that says “Tick tock.” It’s from an unknown caller. It’s from Andre’s unknown caller, aka Heather. Suddenly, Dani says, “Andre…”
What does Dani want to know? And what will Andre tell her?
