Can we talk about Beyond the Gates‘ resident plastic surgeon, Dr. Ted Robinson? Well, he’s looking rough this week, and it’s no surprise after his brutal confrontation with Nicole and the Duprees last week. He’s mad, frustrated, and vulnerable. And this highly suspect combination might lead him to make bad choices. At least that’s the way it looks in the video preview for September 15-19.
A Dandre Getaway
Andre (Sean Freeman) makes a move that’s even better than bringing Paris to Ashley (Jen Jacob). He and Dani (Karla Mosley) are about to get away from the DMV. She needs it after the stress, tension, and tears she shed during her daughter’s abduction.
“You still haven’t told me where we’re going, lover boy,” Dani says. They are, apparently, going where the wind takes them. Actually, Andre is leaving it up to luck. “Place A. Place B. Choose,” Andre explains as he lays down two napkins on the table in front of Dani.
“Okay, let’s go with A,” Dani responds, which just so happens to be “Vegas, baby!” Nobody can bring down their upbeat moods. They are ready to go to Sin City. Dani reacts with, “Life goes boom.” Andre playfully responds, “We go boom!” Wonder if this “impromptu trip” that Dani and Andre take is where Dani crosses paths with Bold and the Beautiful‘s Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kay).
Reconnection Issues
Martin (Brandon Claybon) and Smitty (Mike Manning) continue to reconnect. “And just now it was like old times. Like the man I fell in love with,” Smitty states. Unfortunately for the couple, their road back to each other isn’t smooth. It’s downright challenging. “But it’s not enough, is it? asks the high-powered congressman. How does Smitty respond?
Scheming in Fairmont Crest
Hayley (Marquita Goings) is already implementing her plan. Operation Make Bill Jealous is underway, and Hayley is targeting Bill’s associate, Tomas (Alex Alegria). “I’ve never seen this side of you before. I like it,” she sweetly tells Tomas. And guess who’s witnessing this little exchange? Yup, you guessed it. Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett). Is Bill about to play Hayley’s reindeer games?
Leslie and Ted, Part Deux and a Dupree Toast
The next part of the video preview is a tale of two stories. One side deals with Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grat) and Ted (Keith D. Robinson). “Come on over here and help me with this,” Leslie tells Ted as she grabs his tie to lead him further into the room.
Then there are Anita Williams Dupree (Tamara Tunie) and her daughter, Dr. Nicole Dupree, soon-to-be-ex Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix). Nicole expresses hopes, makes wishes, all while they both hold up martinis. “To knocking down that scheme and praying that Leslie hasn’t already thought of another idea to screw with us.”
You know she has, right? “Wakey, wakey teddy bear?” Leslie wakes up in bed with Ted. If this is for real, who wants to take a bet that Leslie will rush straight from Ted’s bed to Nicole’s home? The woman loves to gloat.
