Bill Needs A Little Help From a “Friend”
Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) needs a special kind of help, so who does he call? Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom), that’s who. “What kind of trouble have the Duprees gotten themselves into?” asks the corrupt casino owner. “This isn’t about the Dupree family. It’s about mine,” Bill responds.
The man is desperate to find the guy who mugged Haley (Marquita Goings). But little does Bill know, there is no guy who gave his wife that shiner. It was a scheme Lynette (Dominique Madison) cooked up to get Bill to forget about Dani (Karla Mosley) and focus on Haley. So far, it’s mostly worked. But what if Joey finds out the truth?
Father and Son Drama
Jacob (Jibre Hordges) and his dad have words smack dab in the middle of the police precinct. It’s about the undercover case Jacob is pursuing. It’s dangerous, and Elon (Malachi Malik) is worried.
Jacob: I’m not asking toi be praised or commended or any of that.
Elon: What do you want?
Jacob: I want some damn respect!
Jacob says those last words loud enough that everybody in the precinct quickly turns to take a look at the train wreck.
Moving Out
Then the promo cuts to Jacob, who may be sporting his undercover outfit, breaking bad news to Naomi (Arielle Prepetit).
Jacob: And you might not hear from me for a while.
Naomi: Tell me.
Jacob: I’m moving out.
The weekly spoilers suggest that one couple chooses to live apart. It must be Jacob and Naomi. While the attorney will undoubtedly worry for her husband, she may be okay with this sudden separation. It means she can easily keep her BRCA gene secret from her husband a while longer.

It’s clear that Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) and Lynette had a past, but there is no way he wants to revisit it. Instead, he has a warning for Haley’s con artist pal. “If I go down, you and Haley are going right along with me.” Maybe Randy overhears Joey’s phone call with Bill and knows that those two formidable men are looking for Haley’s fake mugger.

“Why can’t we swap bedroom stories like other sisters?” Dani inquires. Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) has a very good reason why this oversharing about their sex lives can’t happen. “Because you are married to my nephew,” she explains.
Anita’s Public Stumble
The final shot of the promo features Anita (Tamara Tunie, whose character has inspired a special new ChelseaKat bag) and Vernon (Clifton Davis) at the same table as Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant).
According to the teasers, Leslie ruins Anita’s lunch, which pushes Anita’s health issues out into the open. In front of the country club diners, Anita starts to fall and possibly faint. She’s sick, and now everybody is going to know it as Vernon tries to keep her from hitting the ground.
