Tyrell Has Big News for His Family
Before Tyrell (Jaden Lucas Miller) started at Banneker, he was down in the dumps after Jessica (Camryn Jade) dumped him. She was headed to college on the West Coast, while he wasn’t traveling far from home to begin his collegiate era.
When he reconnects with his family, it looks like he stirs up some drama when he drops a bombshell. Whatever it is, let’s hope Martin (Brandon Claybon) and Smitty (Mike Manning) can handle it.
In addition to the bombshell news, the husbands enjoy a full house. Does that mean Tyrell heads home with his dads and Samantha (Najah Jackson) because there’s a break from school? Or is there something else we need to know?
The Hayley Effect
There’s another piece of news spreading, and it has to do with the leverage Hayley (Marquita Goings, BTG’s Performer of the Month for September 2026) has on Bill. It’s the reason why he pulled serious strings to get the charges against her dropped. Vernon (Clifton Davis) found out about it during Friday’s episode. And it looks like he’ll tell Anita (Tamara Tunie) the disturbing news on Monday.
Meanwhile, Dani (Karla Mosley) is practically an emotional wreck even as she tries to gear up for the homecoming festivities. Unfortunately for her, someone gives her the cold shoulder. One person of interest could be Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla), who is super upset with her parents. She wants justice for them. And they are letting Hayley walk and won’t fill her in on the specifics of why Hayley gets to go free.
As for Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett), he refuses to go down without a fight. He won’t give up, and so he’ll probably do whatever it takes to enact his own revenge on Hayley. Bill has already planted some gotcha elements in the divorce papers he drew up. He undoubtedly has more in store for Hayley, so she may want to skedaddle and get out of town sooner rather than later.
Nicole Gets Real with Deanna, while Vanessa Practices Avoidance
Finally, we can’t forget about the McBrides. It has been over a year since Doug (Jason Graham) died, and Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) just got carjacked. Not sure that Deanna (Angela Fairley) knows about what her mother experienced. Vanessa will probably not want her daughter to know, as it would validate her concerns over her mother being in a relationship with Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom).
Needless to say, Deanna will be part of the homecoming festivities on Monday. Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) will take the opportunity to give her a reality check. As for Vanessa’s agenda, she’ll be dodging questions. That’s what happens when things go terribly wrong, and you’re in love with the town’s corrupt and shady casino owner.
Jacob and Naomi Decide What Matters Most
Finally, Jacob (Jibre Hordges) and Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) are busy people. Jacob has been handling some big-ticket cases like Hayley’s black widow case and the Impaler case, of course.
Meanwhile, Naomi has been helping her dad’s firm, some of her own cases, and took on an extra case that requires her to collaborate with her father. Additionally, she has had to deal with the Hayley stuff, and she’s Smitty’s lawyer. On Monday, Jacob and Naomi will realign their priorities, likely because they are still not spending much alone time together.
