Heather (Ashley Jones) is slowly gathering information that’s important to her job as The Impaler as she continues to move about town. She toyed with Martin (Brandon Claybon) and Smitty (Mike Manning). She overheard Ashley (Jen Jacob) and Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) talking about Lia’s death.
And now she connects with June (Jasmine Burke), who’s one of the more underrated sources of information in the DMV.
Jacob and Elon Lock Horns Again
It used to be Elon (Malachi Malik) and Izaiah (Lami) who would have words with each other on a regular basis. But now Elon and Jacob (Jibre Hordges) are the father-son duo who continue to clash.
And it’s probably for a good reason. Finding out that Lia Whitmore (Cecelia Specht) died has lit a fire under Jacob to find out the identity of The Impaler. And that’s a very dangerous investigation.
Elon knows his son is a competent cop. But he also wants to protect him. Unfortunately for them, that protective streak usually comes out in heated moments.
Smitty Turns to His Mother-in-Law for Help
Smitty is as determined as Jocob is to track down The Impaler. That could be why he turns to his mother-in-law. He needs Nicole’s expertise. Maybe to get into the head of this criminal mastermind.
Or he questions Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) about what might have been Lia’s mindset at the time of her death. After all, he doesn’t think that the former Garland chief of staff took her own life.
