Martin’s Secret
Martin and his dramatic clap make quite the entrance at the country club. There, Martin (Brandon Claybon) confronts Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) and Hayley (Marquita Goings) and brings up the subject of his nightmares, possibly to warn Hayley that her new husband isn’t who she thinks he is. “I might have done something terrible one night,” the congressman begins. “Martin…mind your surroundings,” Bill interrupts. Does Martin really want to go there with Bill?

Vanessa’s Newest Extracurricular Activities
At the casino, it isn’t Doug (Jason Graham) sitting at the poker table for once. It’s his wife, Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli), who’s perched next to casino owner, Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom). Unlike Doug, Vanessa is experiencing the sweet taste of success. “Well, aren’t you a natural?” Joey notes. The action then cuts to a private room in the back where Vanessa and Joey take another type of gamble. It’s one involving ripping off each other’s clothes. “I guess I don’t mind taking a few risks after all,” Vanessa states.
Expecting News?
There’s more Bill and Hayley coming up this week. Apparently, Hayley might be pregnant? If this is the case, people will start freaking out in 3…2…1… “Am I supposed to throw my step-monster a babymoon girls’ trip,” asks Naomi (Arielle Prepetit), who as predicted, isn’t looking happy to hear the news.

Guess who isn’t buying the baby news? Dani (Karla Mosley), of course. She wants proof on top of proof. “Now take a test in front of me, or if you want to prove you’re a liar, just say no,” she says.
It’s Called Leverage
Elsewhere in the DMV, Eva (Ambyr Michelle) sneaks into her mother’s place well after Leslie (Trisa Mann-Grant) threw her out. “Always have a spare. It’s what you taught me, Mama,” Eva says as we see her enter the apartment, obviously wanting leverage. Does she get it? Sounds like she might. You be the judge. “What did you do with my helmet and gloves?” Leslie demands to know. Ruh roh. Looks like Eva made a baller move, but who knows how Leslie will react. She’s unpredictable, that one. Have you seen her Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson 2.0 wig yet?
