The folks of Fairmont Crest are still feeling the effects of Hurricane Leslie, who blew through Ted and Nicole’s anniversary party and destroyed everything in her sight. This week on Beyond the Gates (all new episodes, no preemptions), Leslie takes on Nicole and attempts to make life even tougher for her daughter Eva.
This Week on Beyond the Gates
After a quick shot of Eva (Ambyr Michelle) and Ted (Maurice Johnson, who is out at BTG) looking fancy and every bit the father and daughter (they even take each other’s hands), Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) has something to say to the daughter she kicked to the curb. “Look at you living a life with the parent that you chose. Don’t give me another thought.” Is this lovey-dovey Eva and Ted moment actually a thing? Or is it a dream for the future?

Meanwhile, Anita (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon (Clifton Davis) are sitting at the piano in their mansion. “Anything for you, Mr. Dupree. Accept that.” As she says this, she takes the phone out of his hand and immediately puts it down. Did that music promoter choose to contact Anita again to talk about her comeback? If he did, will she call him back? And will he mention anything about an Articulette reunion to go with that concert?
Elsewhere, Leslie is up to no good. It’s time for her to start tying up loose ends. For instance, she needs to ensure nobody goes after her for Laura’s (Destiny Love) hit-and-run. How does she accomplish this? She seemingly throws her daughter under the bus. “So you’re admitting it,” Kat (Colby Muhammad) says to Leslie. “Eva ran Laura off the road.” Leslie’s such a bad mother.

Leslie sure is getting around Fairmont Crest and beyond because she also shows up at Nicole’s FC abode. “Do you want to tell me what’s going on with you?” Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) asks Leslie, who’s known for her many alter egos.
Finally, prepare yourself for another delicious dose of Dani (Karla Mosley) and Andre (Sean Freeman), who are practicing the benefits of love in the afternoon. “Andre, what took you so long to wind up in my bed?” Are Dani and Andre about to become an actual couple?
