Naomi’s lawsuit against her father’s firm is one of the storylines taking front and center this week, according to the Beyond the Gates video preview for March 31 – April 4. Also, expect Jacob to witness more shadiness from his veteran partner Marcel Malone. And do Dani and Bill look like they’re enjoying each other’s company?
This Week on Beyond the Gates
Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) is taking action at the beginning of the BTG sneak peek for this coming week. She’s with her dad at his law firm when she suddenly calls for help. “I’m calling 911,” Naomi announces. Did something dire happen?
Next thing we see Naomi is talking to her nemesis and new stepmother, Hayley Hamilton (Marquita Goings). She demurely asks her, “You really want to help?” Hayley responds, “I do.” Just when you think they’re about to have a sincere moment, Naomi goes on the attack. “Stay the hell away,”

Meanwhile, Jacob (Jibre Hordges) doesn’t know when to give up. Apparently, he sees his partner accept cash from someone shady. “Yes, Pops. I know what I saw,” the rookie detective reports. “A decorated detective was receiving cash from a suspected criminal.” Once again, Elon (Malachi Malik) tells his son to keep a lid on what he witnessed.
Also, this week, Hayley is on the hunt for her husband. “Where’s Bill now,” she asks someone. “I insist you tell me where my husband is.” We’re guessing she will not like where he is. Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) is with Dani (Karla Mosley) looking like they’re all smiles and probably bonding over how proud they are of their daughters, Naomi and Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla).

Finally, Anita (Tamara Tunie) and Vernon (Clifton Davis) sound like they may have Bill on their minds as well. “That man has too much power,” Anita states. “We can’t let him pull that trigger, Anita,” Vernon responds. Is this about what Bill knows about Martin’s (Brandon Claybon) huge, mysterious secret? Or is it about a different secret that he can use as leverage over the Duprees?
