The video preview for Beyond the Gates features Jacob and Kat getting closer to nailing Leslie for what she did to Laura. Plus, Andre and Dani may need another relationship label sooner rather than later. Here’s what’s happening on BTG from June 9 to 13.
This Week on Beyond the Gates
If you’re a fan of Dani (Karla Mosley) and Andre (Sean Freeman), the week of June 9-13 might be pivotal for their relationship, situationship, business casual fit, or whatever they’re labeling it currently. It looks like Andre presumably walks right into a room in Dani’s house, feeling comfortable. However, he finds Dani’s daughter and niece, Chelsea (RhonniRoses Mantilla) and Kat (Colby Muhammad), instead. There’s a good chance the cousins will have questions for him. Actually, he can count on it. “Is there something that you need to share?” Chelsea inquires.
Cut to Dani and Andre in bed when her father unexpectedly stops by. “Dani, sweetheart,” Vernon (Clifton Davis) calls out. What will Dani and Andre do after another close call?

Meanwhile, Jacob (Jibre Hordges) and Kat seem to finally be on the same page after Kat’s big discovery. “The helmet and gloves that we retrieved from Leslie’s apartment are the same ones that the rider on the bike in the accident had,” Jacob explains to Kat, who, needless to say, is excited.
“We are so close to putting that b***h away for good,” Kat observes with authority. But here’s the thing. Why is the detective saying the helmet and gloves were retrieved from Leslie’s apartment when Kat snagged them from under the bed in Eva’s (Ambyr Michelle) hotel room? What gives?

Jacob’s wife, Naomi (Arielle Prepetit), has a crisis of her own. “I’m the reason he’s in the hospital in the first place. It’s all my fault,” she tells her grandfather. But she couldn’t be further from the truth. Bill’s in the hospital because of Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett).
Finally, the three remaining Articulettes have the opportunity to relive their glory days. Are they going to let unresolved resentments and a painful past stop them from getting a second chance at success? It sounds like Anita (Tamara Tunie) and Sharon (Bonita Brisker) need to listen to Tracy (Maria Howell), who’s clearly the girl group’s mediator.

“The love was real. The sisterhood was real. And all we have to do is reclaim it,” Tracy implores. Will Anita and Sharon bury the hatchet somewhere that isn’t in each other’s backs?
