This week on Beyond the Gates, there are shockers, confrontations, and tense showdowns in store. Plus, Martin has a plan to deal with the past that’s haunting him in the present.
Chaotic Bill is in the House
Let’s hope Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) is firing on all cylinders on BTG. If he’s a little shaky, we’ll understand. He just had a mini-stroke, and he can’t be 100% recovered from it just yet.
But the thing is, he’ll need to tap into all of his energy, patience, anger, and creativity this week. Right off the bat, teasers suggest he’ll get into a tense showdown with Vernon (Clifton Davis). This means we may finally find out the specifics on how Bill helped clean up Martin’s mess two years ago. Martin’s secret is about to be revealed, and Bill was an essential part of it. What did he do?
Look for Bill to also have conversations with Dani (Karla Mosley) and Joey Armstrong (Jon Lindstrom) as the week progresses. Yes, he’ll be a busy guy.

Much-Anticipated Conversation
Last week, Dani finally came clean to her sister about her relationship with Andre (Sean Freeman). And Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) didn’t take it too well. She explained to her sissy how she relies on Andre for support and now this will make things weird. Plus, she didn’t appreciate Dani lying to her.
Anyway, mid-week, expect Nicole to confront Andre. Confrontation makes it feel like she’s still upset and doesn’t approve of Andre’s connection to Dani, right? Will the two be able to hash things out?

Plans and Progression
It looks like Martin (Brandon Claybon) is determined to deal with Kenneth (Jason Vendryes). So, look for him to set a plan in motion to absolve his past. The problem here is that his husband and family have no idea this is all going on.
Smitty (Mike Manning), however, is close to finding out something. Is this the week that Martin’s two-year secret and Smitty’s investigation into Marcel (Darryl W. Handy) and his finances collide?
