On Beyond the Gates, we’re still reeling from Tomas’s shenanigans last week. He did Eva and Kat dirty, and we will continue to side-eye the guy for the foreseeable future. This week, teasers suggest Kat is hiding something from Tomas, but there are some other stories that we have our eye on for the week of July 28 to August 1.
Better Together, Sisters Forever, Articulettes Strong?
The Articulettes’ mantra “better together, sisters forever, Articulettes strong” has seen its better days. However, by the end of the week, the dysfunctional yet legendary girl group takes the stage for their highly anticipated comeback concert.
Unsurprisingly, this last phase of the journey to that performance is going to be as rocky as everything else between them has been. Look for Anita (Tamara Tunie) to lock horns with Sharon (Bonita Brisker) and Tracy (Maria Howell) before their big day.

Twisted Triangle
It’s time to get back to Vanessa’s main dilemma. And that’s navigating life between her husband and the casino owner she’s heavily involved with financially and romantically. She’s sliding deeper and deeper into shades of gray territory as she has hitched her wagon to Joey Armstrong’s body and business.
It’s a delicate balance that is set to continue this week as Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) struggles to keep the peace between Joey (Jon Lindstrom) and Doug (Jason Graham). Is that even possible? Doug knows that Joey will do whatever it takes to make sure he wins, right?

Scheming Sisters
Also, this week, the Dupree sisters scheme for the greater good. That happens on Thursday, July 31. If we haven’t conveyed this before, we are here for whenever Dani (Karla Mosley) and Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) team up. Lately, they’ve had a bit of a rocky ride as Nicole showed how unhappy she was with Dani and Andre’s relationship.

But Dani has supported her sissy through this latest drama, the Martin (Brandon Claybon) nightmare that he has been living for the past two years. So what causes Fairmont Crest’s fairest siblings to join forces? Is this about Martin and his marriage? Or maybe ensuring the Articulettes stop their bickering and make it on stage for their comeback concert? Or is it something else entirely?
