Martin versus the bigoted busboy and his brother was the story that did the heavy lifting on Beyond the Gates last week. This week, the fallout from Martin recounting his horror story continues. During the week of July 21-25, there are other moments to watch, too, like Moment #1.
Shady Motives?
We’re still unsure what to make of Chelsea’s love life. Madison, (Kenjah) the neurosurgeon, is smart, gorgeous, and totally into the purse designer. However, we also know next to nothing about her life other than she’s well aware of Chelsea’s social media presence.
Meanwhile, Allison (Brianna Roberts) is back on the scene and giving off stalker vibes. She can’t quite seem to quit Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) and suddenly has no time for her husband. This week, Allison is in need of medical attention. Does she really need to see a doctor? Or does she want to take the opportunity to unnerve Dr. Madison Montgomery on hospital turf?

Jacob Stays Relentless
Jacob (Jibre Hordges) can be downright dogged when sussing out the truth. And he doesn’t care if he has to arrest or interrogate someone close to him or his wife. He did a full-court press on Smitty (Mike Manning) when the investigative reporter suddenly started keeping things to himself.
And now Jacob is about to question a family member about a police matter. We’re guessing that this could be the patriarch himself, Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis). After all, he testified in front of Internal Affairs on Detective Marcel Malone’s (Darryl W. Handy) behalf. And Jacob senses that Vernon is all over whatever went down with Martin (Brandon Claybon). If he connects the dots and pursues questioning one of the Duprees, he has to know this will cause a certain amount of chaos. He better be prepared to face his wife, who happens to be a Dupree.

Nicole’s Emotional Eruption
This week will be an emotional one for Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix). She just found out that her son and father experienced something horrific, and they never told her. Even her mom knew! But now that she knows, she’s on the warpath. Early in the week, she confronts Ted (Keith D. Robinson) about this new set of lies. Then by the end of the week, she does the same with Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett), and the conversation gets heated.
And if you caught the BTG weekly video preview, then you know she makes an emotional declaration because she’s sick of being left out of the loop. She is done with the lies. Do you blame her?
