On the agenda for this week’s slate of Beyond the Gates spoilers are schemes, proposals, and even a final goodbye to a fading marriage. Let’s see what’s on our Moments to Watch radar for the week of October 13-17.
Key Takeaways
- Smitty surprises Martin with a heartfelt proposal in front of their kids—will he say yes and possibly renew their vows?
- Nicole and Ted face the death of their marriage, heading toward divorce after lies, betrayals, and affairs.
- Hidden agendas unfold as Kat schemes, potentially leaving Eva and Tomas caught in a web of manipulation and suspense.
Will He Say Yes
According to the weekly spoilers, Martin (Brandon Claybon) receives a stunning proposition on Thursday. This has to be Smitty (Mike Manning) proposing to Martin in front of their kids, right?
The BTG weekly video preview has a sneak peek of the momentous event. Last week, Martin tried to impress Smitty with a grand gesture. Unfortunately, it fell flat because it involved turning himself in to the cops for what happened two years ago. While Smitty didn’t appreciate this move, he did see how genuine Martin was being. And after realizing they needed to work together on repairing their bond, Smitty wanted Martin to move back into their home so they could be a family again.
So this proposal is earned, but do they also end up renewing their vows this week?
In Memoriam: Nicole and Ted’s marriage
While Martin and Smitty reconnect, Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) and Ted (Keith D. Robinson) mourn the state of their marriage. Their marriage is on its last legs, and it feels like the soon-to-be-exes will put that baby to bed for good this week. Too much has gone on. There have been many lies and many walls constructed to keep Ted away from Nicole.
And oh yeah, Ted slept with Leslie (Trish Mann-Grant) again. And Nicole continues to go on dates with his medical practice partner, Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley).
It’s time to call it. It’s divorce city for these two. But who knows, maybe someday they’ll be able to be friends.
Hidden Agendas
This is the teaser that truly intrigued us. Eva (Ambyr Michelle) and Tomas (Alex Alegria) realize they’ve been played as Kat plans to make tonight unforgettable. What does this all mean? Has Kat (Colby Muhammad) been playing them? Does she really want to kick Tomas to the curb, but she has some sort of plan to make him and Eva — who slept together — pay first?
We don’t know what any of this means, but we are looking forward to seeing it all play out on Friday.
