Key Takeaways
Key Takeaways
- Carlton and Kial compete as their simmering rivalry heats up.
- Nicole has another fiery run-in with Leslie.
- Bill revisits the baby conversation, leaving Hayley scrambling to protect her long con.
Dueling Suitors
Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) is enjoying dating two men. And while Kial (Greg Vaughan) has no issues keeping things casual, flirty, and fun, Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley) hasn’t felt the same. He has had feelings for the psychiatrist going way back.
And he’s done his best to stay chill and let Nicole set the tone for their relationship. But he was hella frustrated when he spotted Nicole and Kial looking cozy at Uptown a couple of weeks ago. On Tuesday, the weekly spoilers reveal that Carlton and Kial compete. But the question here is whether this will be a friendly or a heated competition. It could go either way at this point.
Enemies Cross Paths
While Carlton and Kial compete, there’s another battle going on, and it’s between Nicole and Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant). According to BTG’s weekly video preview, Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) is there to witness Nicole and Leslie’s run-in. The two clearly have a heated discussion.
Leslie undoubtedly calls her nemesis by her nickname, “Nikki,” and Nicole doesn’t hold back when she responds. “Nikki came out the last time you goaded me to put my hands on you. “You do remember how that ended.” Why does Leslie insist on needling Nicole? It’s like a sport for her.
Subject Revisited
Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) and Hayley (Marquita Goings) have reached their first anniversary, and his attention is solely on his wife after that mugging incident. However, Bill has an idea. He wants to revisit the topic of having a baby. After Hayley’s “miscarriage” last year, she started taking birth control. But she knew that this topic would come up again someday.
Well, that someday is today. She doesn’t want children with Bill. But she is knee-deep in this long con. So what will her response be? She may tell him she isn’t ready yet. Or she may reconsider and say yes.
She has wanted to end this con for a while now. In fact, Hayley tried to kill Bill with a slow-acting poison. Has she changed her mind about getting away from her husband sooner rather than later?
Advice and Awkward Conversations
Eva (Ambyr Michelle) and Izaiah’s relationship is progressing. Leslie, of course, had to push things when she asked Ted (Keith D. Robinson) to reach out to Izaiah (Lami) and take an interest in his daughter’s love life. This is a man who’s special to her, and Leslie thinks they will go the distance. So she thinks Ted should start getting to know Izaiah now.
While Eva turns to Tomas (Alex Alegria) for advice, Izaiah gets put on the spot. If he and Ted meet up on Tuesday, then maybe his future father-in-law (if Leslie has her way) asks him questions that may or may not make the Hawthorne uncomfortable.
