It has been less than a year since Kat (Colby Muhammad) donned her Nancy Drew hat and investigated Leslie’s crimes. They are sworn enemies, and as long as they stay away from each other, everything’s good. Kat’s company is thriving, and she and Tomas (Alex Alegria) are still together. Eva manages Ted’s office and has her own successful relationship with Izaiah (Lami). Leslie has riches, lives in Fairmont Crest, is starting a free clinic, and has a side thing going with Detective Marcel Malone (Darryl W. Handy). A relationship with Ted (Keith D. Robinson) remains an unattainable goal.
Then why is the past coming back to haunt Kat? Weekly spoilers reveal that Laura’s unsolved accident from a year ago will set Kat off. Do Kat and Laura have a conversation? Laura, understandably, remains unsettled by the fact that justice was never served. Leslie hasn’t paid one ounce or moment over what she did. Instead, every time she sees Laura, she’s in the girl’s face, flaunting her freedom. If this “accident” sets Kat off, what is she about to do?

Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie, whose character’s breast cancer story inspired a ChelseaKat bag) had high hopes that going on CBS Mornings and going public with her cancer diagnosis would: 1) Take care of any ridiculous rumors within the country club set. An Unexpected and Unwelcome Sight
As for Dani (Karla Mosley) and Andre (Sean Freeman), they are currently living their lives blissfully. They have worked through many of their issues. And while they have to deal with Dani’s BRCA gene result, they don’t let it bring them down. Additionally, Dani’s over the moon now that her daughter, Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla), is engaged.
This allows Dani to go into wedding planning mode. On the flip side, Dani and Andre are about to deal with an unwelcome visitor. Could it be Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) or Hayley (Marquita Goings)? Or someone else?
Naomi Updates Ashley
Finally, Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) updates Ashley (Jen Jacob) on Jacob (Jibre Hordges) moving out. And she probably tells her bestie that she’s scared for her husband, too. He’s currently deep undercover, and she knows that it was dangerous enough for him to put some space between them. Making sure his cover isn’t blown is key, and he can’t have anybody following him home.
This is a trying time for Naomi, and that’s why it’s great that Ashley knows everything. She is the only person who knows about Naomi’s positive BRCA gene result. So, Ashley is the best person to support Naomi right now.
