Another Successful Date Erupts
It wasn’t too long ago that Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) didn’t think she was ready to move on. In fact, she shut down a relationship that had potential after Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley) and Ted (Keith D. Robinson) had an embarrassing verbal altercation in the middle of the hospital. She told her fellow doctor that she wasn’t ready.
Then Dr. Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughan) came along. Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) introduced Kial to Nicole, and the two went to WinterFest together. Add another successful post-WinterFest conversation, and guess what? Nicole’s ready to move on even though her divorce was painful.
Now that Carlton is back in town, she’s not neglecting him. Apparently, they decide not to go out for their rendezvous. Their indoor date heats up, and now we have ourselves a bona fide BTG love triangle.
Ted Hits Turbulence with Shanice
While Nicole dates Ted’s partner in their plastic surgery practice, there’s no need to worry about Ted. Actually, scratch that. He may need some help.
Ted suddenly gives Shanice something that freaks her out, which may mean one thing. It has to do with a bird or has some sort of birdlike aspect to it. Ted should know better, since Shanice once told him that she and birds don’t mix. Is that what happens here?
An Unexpected Team Up
After Samantha (Najah Jackson) pitched her free health clinic idea to Eva (Ambyr Michelle), Eva enlisted Leslie’s help. After all, she has a bottomless bank account, and she wants to help her daughter with this good deed.
They have already enlisted Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) to help find the perfect place. And now Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) calls on Naomi (Arielle Prepetit), the fierce attorney, for help with a new endeavor, which could only mean this free clinic. As a result of Leslie and Eva picking up the ball and running with it, Samantha is left shut out.
But that’s okay, Samantha is never one to hold back when she feels wronged. She will make her concerns known.
Surprises in the DMV
Elsewhere in the DMV, June (Jasmine Burke) receives a heartwarming invitation. And the Hawthornes are in for a surprise as well.
