Next on Beyond the Gates

Hayley’s Drama

Hayley (Marquita Goings) is dealing with an intense amount of drama. When she stupidly tried to speed up the process of her Kill Bill plan, Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) collapsed right there in his office. And instead of calling 911, she pounded on his chest until her husband woke up.

Now we’re left wondering if Bill heard something he shouldn’t have. After all, he kept looking at the cup he used to drink his tea. If he were smart — and he is — he would grab that cup and somehow get it tested. He knows he didn’t just pass out from not eating anything that morning before he did his bloodwork. There’s a good chance he might know that something is rotten in Denmark.

Meanwhile, look for another drama to present itself. Hayley gets the shock of her life when a new client arrives at the firm. Is it someone she knows? It could be someone from her past, whom she certainly doesn’t want to see. Or maybe it’s Randy (Maurice P. Kerry), who could be doing some checking up to see if Bill is as dead as Hayley had thought.

Needless to say, Hayley might have some damage control to do.

Hawthorne Family Drama

It’s the holiday season, a time when families either come together in celebration and togetherness. Or they fight like cats and dogs. Put the Hawthornes in the latter category. Izaiah’s return has helped shine a light on just how dysfunctional they are.

The weekly spoilers reveal that the Hawthornes struggle to repair a broken connection. Does Izaiah (David Lami Friebe) finally mend fences with Elon (Malachi Malik) and go to see his mother? When are we going to meet Mama Hawthorne anyway? Does Jacob (Jibre Hordges) play mediator? We’ll have to see what it takes to get this family on the right path to healing.

Vanessa’s Business Drama

Meanwhile, Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) has been in her feelings about her relationship with Joey (Jon Lindstrom, who’s pulling double duty on BTG and General Hospital). They went public in spectacular fashion, by the way.

Additionally, she recently received a shock when two Fairmont Crest Country Club members shared their thoughts about her attempt to recruit them to use the escort service she now operates (find out what Real Housewives of Potomac‘s Gizelle Bryant had to say about her guest-star appearance).

Things take a turn, potentially in a positive direction, when Vanessa receives an intriguing business proposition. Will she say yes to said proposition?

Kat’s Dramatic Life Continues

In Wednesday’s episode, Aunt Dani (Karla Mosley) provided Kat (Colby Muhammad) with empathy, honesty, and compassion. Tomas (Alex Alegria) asking her to move in, and her continued war with Eva (Ambyr Michelle), has her questioning her own actions. In Thursday’s episode, she and Martin (Brandon Claybon) attempt to repair what’s broken between them.

On Friday, however, look for Kat to face some tough questions. Who are these questions coming from? Tomas? Her mom? Or someone else?

No Drama, Just Friendship (For Now)

Finally, Ted (Keith D. Robinson) keeps having to see Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) move on; this time, it isn’t his business partner. It’s an acquaintance who thankfully doesn’t have any significant ties to Ted (Greg Vaughan talks about Dr. Kial Rollins and joining BTG). Still, it’s a tough thing to see your ex-wife have a life without you.

However, Ted may be moving on from both Nicole and Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) as he and Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) keep finding themselves chatting it up on the hospital floor or trapped in an elevator. On Friday, Shanice makes a move when she offers Ted food and friendship. And who knows, maybe that friendship will turn into something more.
