Hayley Fearful After Bill’s Collapse
Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) had a bittersweet WinterFest. He couldn’t help but think of years past, when he had been part of the Dupree inner circle. However, after dumping Dani (Karla Mosley) and marrying Hayley (Marquita Goings), he has remained an outsider, despite being the father of Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) and Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla). And despite continuing to be the family’s fixer.
Little does he know that his wife is a con artist who dupes men into marriage and then fleeces them of their money. However, Hayley has taken this present con to the next level. She wants to achieve black widow status and has slowly been poisoning him.
Her plan is working when she finds Bill passed out on the floor of his office. Weekly spoilers suggest that Bill’s sudden collapse grips Hayley with fear. So she’s not as fearless as we thought. Aunt Dani Counsels Kat
Kat (Colby Muhammad) struggles to accept Eva (Ambyr Michelle) as her half-sister. She’s understandably hurt by her father’s past and his secrets that blew up her whole family. But she has had everyone telling her to dig deep and figure out a way to come to terms with her new sibling. She’s really had no one who has seen things from her perspective. Not even her mother.
Her resentments over Eva have started to affect her relationships with her family. Kat and Martin (Brandon Claybon) are at odds. Kat is avoiding going to family events because Eva is there. Thankfully, there may be some hope. On Wednesday, Aunt Dani serves as a much-needed sounding board for her niece.
Sexy Time for Nicole?
It appears that Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) is finally moving on from Ted (Keith D. Robinson)…at least for now. An impromptu massage leaves Nicole more tempted than she expected. Since Carlton (Robert Christopher Riley) is out of town and missed out on WinterFest, this may mean that her blind date, the doctor, could be responsible for this much-needed massage.
Nicole’s first date with Dr. Kial Rollins (Greg Vaughan, who talks about joining BTG) went well. Perhaps this massage will lead to the second date he proposed. If this isn’t Kial’s doing, is it Ted that works his magic?
Ashley and Derek Interact Again
Finally, Ashley (Jen Jacob) and Derek (Ben Gavin) reach an agreement. Every time these two get together, they can’t help but spill their anger and resentment at each other. What does this agreement involve? Maybe they decide to work on being friends again. Or they could agree that they should never see each other again.
