Dani and Andre Shake Things Up
Dani (Karla Mosley) and Andre (Sean Freeman) are going through a tough time. But not as tough as what they are about to go through if/when their secrets are revealed. Dani slept with Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) the night of the tornado. She has been holding on to that secret for weeks. She knows the damage it will cause once everybody finds out.
Meanwhile, Andre now has a secret of his own. His past as a jet-setting playboy is well known. But nobody knows the scope of what he was up to back in the day. He and Heather (Ashley Jones) have a past, and it’s not all of the romantic variety, although that does seem to be a part of it.
When he reconnected with Dani after his mysterious rendezvous with Heather, he didn’t mention a thing. But for now, Dani and Andre continue to live their nontraditional lives together. The teasers suggest that they are about to color outside the lines. We’ll all have to see what that even means.
Plans Saved and Plans Interrupted in Fairmont Crest
Apparently, Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) is about to play a savior of sorts. And not for utilizing her considerable psychiatric skills. She comes up with a plan that saves the night for Noah (Nick Hagelin). This must have something to do with his appearance at Uptown’s upcoming open mic night.
Nicole truly saving the day for Noah will definitely score her points with his father, Kial (Greg Vaughan), whom Nicole happens to be seeing exclusively. Elsewhere, Nicole’s parents hit a little snag when Vernon’s (Clifton Davis) plans for Anita (Tamara Tunie) are interrupted. How will they pivot?
Jacob Goes All Out to Surprise His Wife
Jacob (Jibre Hordges) knows that Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) is going through a lot, especially with her father in the hospital. She is taking care of things at the law firm in his absence. And, of course, there’s that whole finding out whether Hayley (Marquita Goings) is having an affair business.
On top of this, she has been dealing with her BRCA carrier gene status. And, of course, she was put through an emotional wringer while Jacob was undercover.
It’s easy to see why the detective wants to do something nice for Naomi. On Wednesday, he enlists Ashley (Jen Jacob) and Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) to help surprise his wife. It’s featured in BTG’s weekly video preview. Hopefully, this will be a fun time had by all. And Naomi will be able to forget her troubles for a little while.
