Also on Friday, Elon (Malachi Malik) delivered grim news to Jacob (Jibre Hordges). Lia Whitmore (Cecelia Specht), Garland’s former chief of staff and an enforcer in the red market plasma ring, died.
First reports had her taking her own life. But Heather (Ashley Jones) basically admitted to Joey (Jon Lindstrom) that she dealt with it since she couldn’t go after the pesky investigative reporter, aka Smitty (Mike Manning, a 2026 Daytime Emmy nominee).
Elon gives Joey the third degree. The police chief wants to know what Joey knows. As much as the casino owner hates what Heather’s doing and how all her baggage could blow back on him, he will protect his sister. So expect Elon to be hella frustrated after this conversation.
Grayson Turns to Jacob for Much-Needed Assistance
Meanwhile, Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso) seeks Jacob’s help. Once the bartender-lab tech hears about Lia’s death, he most likely will be scared out of his mind. He worked for Lia, after all. He was wrapped up in the ring. Plus, he skated on any charges for cooperating with Jacob. Heather could turn her brutal eye to him. He might want to take precautions.
As for Heather, she suddenly makes a bold move. But it’s unclear whether this has to do with making people too scared to come forward, or with Andre (Sean Freeman).
Ted Doles Out More Advice to His Nephew
Finally, Andre turns to Ted (Keith D. Robinson) once again. He needs his uncle to give him some words of wisdom. But if he wants Ted’s help so bad, how much is he willing to share with him?
