Nicole’s Hit with a Workplace Crisis
Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) doesn’t start the week off on the right foot. She ends up having to deal with a hack. And we know who’s to blame, don’t we? The usually honorable and above-board Smitty (Mike Manning) took a walk on the shady side in the name of his latest investigation. He gave Ashley (Jen Jacob) an excuse for being at the hospital.
And then he snuck into his mother-in-law’s office, found her password, and accessed her computer to look at the hospital records. His mission was to find candidates for the female staff member who could be Grayson’s plasma ring contact.
And now it’s Nicole’s problem. Will she find out her son-in-law was the culprit?
Vanessa Feels Played
Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) keeps taking hit after hit. Deanna (Angela Fairley) wants answers about her mom’s relationship with Joey (Jon Lindstrom). Answers that she’s not ready to give. She experienced a horrifying double date with her best friend. And now that friendship is in shambles. Unfortunately, things aren’t going to get better on Monday.
That’s when the weekly teasers suggest that Vanessa realizes she was duped. Duped by who? Deanna? Joey? Or someone else?
Leslie’s Latest Proposition
While Vanessa feels duped, Joey (Jon Lindstrom) interacts with Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant, who spoke about playing her character). His business partner at the free clinic has a proposition for him. And it’s here where Joey usually says hard pass and wishes she’d get out of his sight. Then she usually treats herself to a drink with his top-shelf liquor. Is that what happens here? Or does Joey finally take an interest in what Leslie has to say?
Ashley’s Unexpected and Unwelcome Advice
Ashley’s been giving a lot of advice lately. She has spent much of her time supporting Naomi (Arielle Prepetit), after all. Little does she know, however, that her own life is a mess. She has seen a red flag or two with Grayson (Jordi Vilasuso, who talked to Soap Hub about BTG and his career). But it hasn’t been enough for her to call it quits. Look for her to suddenly receive some unwelcome advice from an unexpected source.
This could be about her needing to end things with shady Grayson. Jacob (Jibre Hordges) keeps telling him that he needs to break up with Ashley. She doesn’t deserve to be lied to or to be with someone who’s involved in such a dangerous operation.
Maybe somebody comes right out and tells her to get away from Grayson. It could be the chief of staff, who has this weird connection to the lab tech. Dr. Whitmore (Cecelia Specht) doesn’t appreciate Grayson taking time away from their dealings to spend on his girlfriend. Or perhaps it’s someone passing along a message from Jacob to Ashley.
