Here are the latest comings and goings casting news from all five daytime dramas: The Bold and the Beautiful, Days of our Lives, General Hospital, The Young and the Restless, and Beyond the Gates.

Days of our Lives Casting

A new Chad DiMera resurfaces on DAYS. Conner Floyd debuts in the pivotal role on Tuesday,  April 21. Here’s the lowdown on the actor, who got his daytime start as Chance Chancellor on The Young and the Restless. The character returns to Salem on Tuesday, April 21, and shares scenes with AnnaLynne McCourt’s cat and Dan Feuerriegel’s Chad. 

Chad’s not alone when he returns. His two kids are with him. Alexander Elijah Bond takes over the role of Thomas DiMera on Tuesday, April 21. The character was last played by Cary Christopher. Christopher shared a special goodbye with fans before exiting the soap

Autumn Gendron is also back as Charlotte DiMera. She airs on Tuesday, April 21. 

After a year off the Salem canvas, AlexAnn Hopkins resurfaces as Joy Wesley. The character surprises Robert Scott Wilson’s Alex at his apartment door on Friday, April 24. As viewers know, Joy was pregnant when she left Salem, but lied and told Alex that she wasn’t.

Sal Stowers is back on the scene as Lani Price Grant. She catches up with her TV sister, Raven Bowens’ Chanel, on Monday, April 20, and reconnects with Stacy Haiduk’s Kristen on Wednesday, April 22.

Nikki Crawford gets more airtime as Lexie Carver. Tyler Joseph Andrew’s Theo continues to sit vigil over his unconscious mother’s bedside this week. Here’s everything you need to know about the new Lexie

General Hospital Casting

Jonathan Bennett has been cast in a new role on GH. The actor, best known for his role as Aaron Samuels in the 2004 film Mean Girls, is set to play Joe Fitzpatrick, a Port Charles newcomer. No details about the character have been disclosed at press time, but the actor will be making his debut in May. Bennett is no stranger to soaps. He previously played JR Chandler on All My Children from 2001 to 2002. 

Finola Hughes fans have something to be happy about. The long-missing Anna Devane will be resurfacing in a few weeks. The actress is currently back on set filming scenes. Chris McKenna, who plays Jack Brennan, shared the news on X. Anna was last seen in February, when she entered a psychiatric clinic for treatment. Hughes weighed in about the psychological return of Faison, which led to her character’s mental crisis

Michael James Scott appears as himself on Friday, April 24. The cameo appearance takes place when Giovanni Mazza’s Gio and Braedyn Bruner’s Emma head to New York City’s Broadway and visit the actor, who stars as Genie, backstage at Aladdin.

Andrew Hawkes continues his run as Ross Cullum, the lethal WSB double agent. Look for Dominic Zamprogna’s Dante to pay the character a visit on Tuesday, April 21. Hawkes explained that he built his menacing character from personal stakes, not menace.

Paige Herschell is back as Jacinda Bracken. Katelyn MacMullen’s Willow vehemently confronts the character and Rory Gibson’s Michael on Monday, April 20.

The Young and the Restless Casting

Stacy Haiduk continues to stir the pot as Y&R troublemaker Patty Williams. She shares scenes with Michelle Stafford’s Phyllis and Susan Walters’ Diane on Wednesday, April 22. Peter Bergman, who plays Patty’s obsession, Jack, weighed in on Haiduk’s return to the role and working with her again.

Vivica A. Fox is back as Dr. Stephanie Simmons. She interacts with Sean Dominic’s Nate on Monday, April 20 and appears opposite Nathan Owens’ Holden, Hayley Erin’s Claire, Billy Flynn’s Cane and Christel Khalil’s Lily on Wednesday, April 23. Fox opened up about her emotional return to Y&R over three decades.

Lauralee Bell and Michael Damian resurface as Christine Blair Romalotti and Danny Romalotti. The newlyweds share scenes on Tuesday, April 21. Bell is back on Wednesday, April 22, opposite Michael Mealor’s Kyle and Amelia Heinle’s Victoria. 

Melissa Ordway returns as Abby Winters Newman. The character struggles to get on the same page as her husband, Devon (Bryton James), on Tuesday, April 21. 

Tina Casciani gets more airtime as the mysterious Riza Thomson. She shares tense scenes with Mark Grossman’s Adam, Joshua Morrow’s Nick and Melissa Claire Egan’s Chelsea on Thursday, April 23 and appears on Friday, April 24. Here are some fun facts about the actress.  

Beyond the Gates Casting

Daytime vet Ashley Jones has been cast in a new role on BTG. Neither details about the character she’ll be playing nor her debut date have been released. Jones previously portrayed Megan Dennison on The Young and the Restless, Bridget Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful, and Parker Forsyth on General Hospital.

The Bold and the Beautiful Casting

After a few months off the canvas, Christian Weissman is back at B&B as Remy Pryce and gearing up for a new storyline. The actor, who resurfaced last week, had been off the canvas for months.

Ashleigh Brewer is back as Ivy Forrester and set to appear throughout the week. (The actress has compared her character’s recent meddling actions to Jacqueline MacInnes Wood’s Steffy.)
