Eva, fresh off her victory against Kat, continued working for Nicole until Kat interrupted with accusations. Kat suspected Eva had erased footage from her hidden camera and demanded to know her true identity. Eva stood her ground, challenging Kat to bring whatever she had.
At Garland Memorial, Dani teased Ashley about workplace romances, but Ashley dismissed the idea. Their conversation turned awkward when Andre arrived—unaware that he was romantically entangled with both women. With Andre staying to film a documentary about Shanice, tensions remained high. Later, Ashley confronted him about avoiding eye contact since his failed attempt to kiss her, leaving him speechless.
Nicole remained concerned about Dani, but Dani insisted she was back on track, focusing on Chelsea’s fashion line. However, Chelsea pushed back, asserting her independence and demanding that Dani stop interfering.
Meanwhile, Bill attempted to manipulate Naomi’s clients, downplaying their lawsuit and suggesting a settlement. Naomi interrupted, exposing his deception and proving his desperation. While she saw this as a victory, some clients still considered settling.
At Orphey Gene’s, Tomás asked Kat to convince Naomi to drop her case against Bill. Annoyed, Kat made a dramatic exit, subtly mocking Tomás. When he later suggested Naomi target only Mike, she vowed to take down Bill entirely.
Elsewhere, Vanessa fell under Joey’s charm as he flattered her, showing suspicious interest in her past.
Finally, Kat surprised her parents by claiming she was through obsessing over Eva. Whether she truly meant it remained to be seen.
Naomi’s clients initially decided to drop the lawsuit against Bill out of fear, but she convinced them to keep fighting, knowing he was bluffing about the settlement. She later confronted Bill, making it clear that the battle wasn’t over. She reminded him that people adored her mother, Dani, and despised what he had done to her. Bill tried to intimidate her, but Naomi stood her ground.
Meanwhile, Hayley faced rejection at Fairmont Crest when the country club canceled her tennis registration due to their loyalty to Dani. Things worsened when she encountered Chelsea at Orphey Gene’s. Chelsea harshly accused her of being a homewrecker and dismissed her attempt to mend Chelsea’s relationship with Bill, throwing in a biting remark about Hayley’s lack of a mother.
Dani, reflecting on Chelsea quitting modeling, realized it triggered memories of Bill abandoning her. She reassured Chelsea that she hadn’t betrayed her but was instead setting her free. With Chelsea out of the fashion show, Dani turned to drinking but managed to stay sober when Bill visited. They reminisced about their past, leading to an unexpected kiss.
At Garland Memorial, Ashley confronted Andre about his awkward behavior, insisting he stop avoiding her. Shanice secretly listened in, later teasing Ashley about her growing feelings. Meanwhile, Jacob warned Derek that Andre’s presence was not only stirring up emotions but also making Derek look bad. When Jacob saw Marcel at the bar, he confronted him about receiving special treatment, asserting his independence.
Hayley brought dinner to Bill’s office, but Caroline informed her that he was with Dani. Hayley worried about the Dupree women’s vengeance and questioned why he didn’t send a lawyer. Caroline suggested he relied on his charm.
At Dani’s, Bill rejected her kiss, reminding her he was married. She mocked his devotion to Hayley, insisting their connection was still strong. Bill insisted they were done and left, while Dani stared at her alcohol bottles.
Later, Hayley confronted Bill about visiting Dani. He admitted he wanted her to call off the club’s cold treatment and retrieve the deed to the summer house. He assured Hayley that Dani finally understood he had moved on.
Meanwhile, Vernon and Anita reminisced as she found his old letters. They planned a fancy night out together.
At Uptown, Jacob reassured Naomi about seeking revenge on her father. Later, she met her grandparents, who warned her to be cautious in her case against Bill’s firm. Vernon reminded her that Bill retaliated harshly.
Jacob saw Marcel receiving a package in an alley. His father, Elon, revealed Joey was an informant and warned Marcel to keep his hands clean. Jacob later shared the information with Naomi, strengthening her resolve against Bill.
Ashley and Derek hosted Andre, discussing a documentary. Andre later visited Dani, who admitted she had hoped Bill wanted her back. Instead, she turned to Andre for distraction, seducing him in her bedroom.
Nicole sprayed her office with scent before taking a call from Ted. He suggested they ditch their party plans for Maui, but she declined.
At the club, Randy and Doug discussed Doug rescheduling surgeries to gamble. Randy questioned how he’d repay Joey, but Doug believed his luck would turn. Vanessa arrived, and Randy left. She confronted Doug about his friendship with Joey, worried about his involvement in shady dealings. Doug downplayed it, but she urged him to distance himself from Randy. Bill offered the plaintiffs a million-dollar settlement and a chance to return to the firm, but Naomi argued they would be powerless against Mike Davis. The women debated whether to accept. Bill expected Naomi to refuse, and she did, ripping up the agreement. As they argued, Bill’s hand went numb, and he struggled to breathe.
At the casino, Joey pressured Doug to start repaying his debt. Doug assured him he would once he won big.
At home, Nicole and Ted shared dinner. When she mentioned Joey buying a house for his mother, Ted revealed Joey’s mother had died the previous year.

Ted had informed Nicole that Joey’s mother had died during a cosmetic procedure performed by Ernie, who had gone silent afterward. This revelation alarmed Nicole, especially since Joey had claimed he was house-hunting for his supposedly alive mother. She worried about his motives regarding Vanessa and debated whether he was simply a narcissist or a charming manipulator. Nicole tried to warn Vanessa, but her call went unanswered, prompting her to rush off. Meanwhile, Ted recalled asking Leslie how to get her out of his life.
At the club, Diego warned Vanessa about Joey, but she brushed him off, thinking he was jealous. After briefly flirting, Diego left, and Vanessa chased after him. Later, while applying lipstick, Vanessa was confronted by Nicole, who revealed Joey’s mother had been dead for a year. Shocked, Vanessa left Joey a message, demanding a meeting. When Joey arrived, she confronted him, and he admitted to lying. He claimed he wanted the house due to his own vanity-related health issues. Vanessa demanded honesty going forward, and they made amends, unaware Diego was watching.
Elsewhere, Hayley thanked Derek for rescuing a cat and vented about being excluded from a group chat. At Bill’s office, he experienced numbness and trouble breathing during an argument with Naomi, who softened when he joked about her mother having killed him long ago. At the hospital, Andre filmed interviews with staff, including Shanice and Ashley. Ashley and Derek shared a kiss after reminiscing about their roles in recent heroic acts.
At home, Dani supported Naomi and encouraged her to release anger toward her father. Hayley confronted Bill about his betrayal and later reconnected with a former friend, Becky, hoping to make amends. Naomi, however, warned her not to interfere, reminding her of the ethical stakes.
