Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix) arrived at the prestigious Fairmont Crest Country Club, where she met her mother, Anita (Tamara Tunie), for breakfast. Concerned about Dani (Karla Mosley), they discussed how she was unraveling over her ex-husband Bill’s (Timon Kyle Durrett) upcoming wedding to Hayley (Marquita Goings). Meanwhile, Naomi (Arielle Prepetit) spent a passionate morning with her husband, Detective Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges), before preparing a special gift for his first day on the job.
At home, Dani’s anger boiled over as she struggled to make coffee, smashing mugs in frustration. Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli) arrived to check on her, encouraging her to focus on herself rather than Bill and Hayley. Dani later called her daughter Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) about an upcoming photoshoot, but Chelsea, frustrated by her mother’s controlling nature, confided in her assistant Kat (Colby Muhammad) about her doubts regarding her modeling career and dreams of becoming an influencer.

Bill attempted to manipulate the Dupree family, Dani lashed out violently, and Ashley navigated her first day at the hospital.
Nicole and Ted (Maurice Johnson) reflected on the chaos at the country club. Hayley arrived with cookies, hoping to smooth things over, but Nicole dismissed her, standing firm in support of Dani.
Meanwhile, Dani wallowed in heartbreak over Bill, prompting Anita to remind her that she was a Dupree—strong, not weak. Anita also addressed Dani’s public attack on Hayley, though she stopped short of scolding her daughter.
Martin and Vernon discussed their family’s legacy and the regret of ever helping Bill’s career. Later, Bill confronted Vernon at home, demanding the Duprees attend his wedding. Though Vernon and Anita despised the idea, they considered it for Martin’s protection.

At home, Anita and Vernon reminisced about their past, agreeing that Martin must be protected—even at Dani’s expense. They summoned the family for an urgent meeting. Meanwhile, Martin struggled with nightmares, but when Smitty pressed him about their meaning, Martin got defensive.
At Bill’s office, Dani slapped him, demanding answers about his new life with Hayley. Bill insisted his choices weren’t about her, but about what he needed—Hayley. Dani stormed out, warning Hayley she wasn’t special. Later, Hayley lamented Bill’s strained relationships, but he assured her choosing her was the right decision.

Chelsea and Kat discussed their grandparents’ shocking request, while Dani vented to Vanessa and Nicole about Anita insisting she attend Bill and Hayley’s wedding. When Hayley approached Dani in an attempt at civility, Dani made it clear she wouldn’t make things easy.

Eva secured a temporary assistant job with Nicole, thanks to a recommendation from her mother, “Leslie.” However, their celebration hinted at a hidden agenda tied to the Dupree family legacy.
Hayley prepared for her wedding with Bill, expressing excitement despite fears that no one would attend. Bill reassured her and gifted her a special blue bracelet. Meanwhile, Dani woke up next to Andre but insisted their night together never happened.
Desperate to stop the wedding, Dani confronted Bill and begged him to call it off. Instead, Bill humiliated her, leaving Dani seething. As she got ready for the ceremony, she retrieved a mysterious box from her closet.
At the hospital, Ashley confided in Andre about her doubts as a nurse. They found themselves stuck in an elevator with a pregnant woman, whose labor progressed as the elevator malfunctioned.
