At the country club, Dani had a screwdriver for breakfast while updating Pamela on her confrontation with Hayley. Vernon arrived, concerned about her behavior but praised her for building a legacy with her daughter. After she left, Anita informed Vernon that Chelsea was leaving modeling. Their conversation shifted to Martin’s presidential ambitions, which Anita insisted would destroy their family. Vernon agreed—he had to be stopped.
Dani later met with Jonathan and Julia to discuss the fashion show. They called her “fierce” over her wedding stunt, which she took as a compliment. Chelsea joined just as Dani excitedly revealed a three-year contract as the face of the show—only to be stunned when Chelsea announced she was quitting modeling.

Dani accused her of punishing her, but Chelsea reassured her it wasn’t about that. Forcing a smile, Dani tore up Chelsea’s contract and told her she was off the hook.
Later, Dani reflected on whether she had pushed Chelsea into modeling to relive her own past. As she stared at an old magazine cover of herself, she began drinking. Nicole walked in as she broke down.

Nicole encouraged her to move on, but Dani admitted she was still hung up on Bill despite knowing he had replaced her with someone younger. They role-played a pickup scenario, where Dani joked about drinking “vodka and sadness,” making Nicole realize how much work she had ahead.

They argued, with Martin admitting he feared losing Smitty to work. Smitty insisted he always planned to return when their kids were older. They held hands, agreeing that family came first.
Elsewhere, Leslie and Eva reminisced over ice cream before Leslie revealed plans to expose Ted at his anniversary party. Eva doubted it would help, but Leslie was determined. Meanwhile, Kat secretly set up a hidden camera in Nicole’s office to catch Eva. Eva, summoned under false pretenses, found herself manipulated by Kat and later comforted by Ted.
At the precinct, Malone softened toward Jacob, but Jacob suspected he had ulterior motives. Back at Orphie Gene’s, Samantha acted strangely when Martin and Smitty returned home. Tyrell then appeared, his face bruised, raising even more questions.
Kat monitored the video feed from her mother’s office, hoping to catch Eva snooping. Meanwhile, outside, Ted warned Leslie to stay away from his daughter. Leslie taunted him about their past, lying that she had the abortion he wanted. Ted dismissed her as trouble but agreed to pay her $50,000 to make her leave, just as he had before. Inside, he checked in with Kat about dinner, but she was distracted and accidentally mentioned Eva instead of Chelsea. Ted advised her to ease up on Eva.
At another table, Doug told Vanessa he had another busy week. Meanwhile, Hayley overheard Bill hugging Lorinda and promising to keep their relationship secret.
