It was a busy week in Fairmont Crest, and the Beyond The Gates recap for March 17 — 21 had its share of drama and unresolved problems for people.
What Happened In Fairmont Crest?
Check out the daily summary recap of each episode below.
Ashley shut down Andre’s impulsive attempt at a kiss, making it clear she was fully committed to Derek. Andre, embarrassed, walked away just as Derek arrived at the hospital, announcing his release. Ashley took him home, where they reaffirmed their strong relationship, with Ashley playfully warning him not to take reckless risks for attention.
Andre later visited Nicole, seeking advice about his behavior. She bluntly told him to stay away from Ashley, as she was in love with Derek. Andre admitted he didn’t usually pursue unavailable women and struggled to understand why he had acted differently this time.
Meanwhile, Martin and Smitty enforced their household rule of keeping Tyrell and Samantha’s homework sessions in sight. Tyrell seemed troubled but refused to discuss his struggles, while Samantha deflected attention by bringing up her frustrations about dating restrictions. Eventually, Tyrell admitted he was having trouble with calculus, though his real problem remained unspoken.
Elsewhere, Nicole continued searching for Sherry Carter, despite Ted’s warnings to let it go. Sherry had previously been seen in distress and later appeared at Nicole’s award ceremony in an unusual capacity. Ted insisted Nicole stop fixating on her, claiming it wasn’t her responsibility to help. Though Nicole understood his concerns, she remained determined. Unbeknownst to them, Eva secretly listened in and appeared ready to use the information against Ted.
Dani, recovering from a drunken escapade, scrambled to clean up the mess she had made while breaking into Bill and Hayley’s home. With Pam’s help, she tried to erase the evidence, but Hayley quickly saw through it. Furious, she stormed into Dani’s home, broke a frame in retaliation, and issued a harsh ultimatum—either Dani stayed away from Bill, or she’d face legal consequences. Dani, defeated, ended the night seeking solace with Andre, both too exhausted to discuss their disastrous day.
Anita and Vernon Dupree hosted a family breakfast at The Fairmont Crest Country Club, sharing their love story from their activist days in D.C. to Chicago’s theater scene. Kat, Nicole, Chelsea, and Dani joined at different times, discussing Kat’s new relationship and her irritation over Eva wearing her dress to Nicole’s banquet. Chelsea struggled to tell Dani she wanted to quit modeling, especially after Dani excitedly secured a dress for her fashion show. Anita proudly praised Dani, unaware of her inner turmoil.
Meanwhile, Hayley arrived at the country club but was ignored by the staff. Frustrated, she left unnoticed and later vented to Bill about her apparent invisibility. Bill, still easing back into work after his honeymoon, reassured her that he would ensure she got the respect she deserved.
At Bill’s firm, Tomas and Mike Davis engaged in casual conversation, with Mike making sleazy remarks about women. Later, Naomi met with three women at Orphey Gene’s who wanted her to sue her father’s firm. They accused Mike Davis of inappropriate behavior and retaliation, which led to their termination. Naomi, despite the conflict with her father, felt ready for the challenge. Her husband, already aware of the allegations, supported her but wanted to ensure she was prepared.
Elsewhere, Jacob and veteran detective Marcel Malone were on a stakeout, observing Joey Armstrong accepting money from a mysterious man. Marcel, close to retirement, preferred patience, while Jacob wanted to act immediately, frustrated by Marcel’s slow approach.
Back at the country club, tensions flared between Kat and Eva. Kat resented Eva’s attempts to take over her life, while Eva shamelessly flirted with Tomas, knowing he had a connection with Kat. Their rivalry remained as intense as ever.
Meanwhile, Dani masked her emotions throughout the day, appearing happy with her family and securing Chelsea’s dress deal. However, once home, she drowned her sorrows in vodka, eventually passing out on the floor, looking completely shattered.
Dani had a rough morning when Andre found her passed out drunk on her kitchen floor. She tried to laugh it off, but Andre wasn’t amused, realizing how dangerous the situation could have been. Despite his frustration, he agreed to keep her secret, knowing she feared an intervention from friends. As Dani sobered up, she clung to Andre, reluctant to let him go. However, she made a significant decision—she poured her vodka down the drain, signaling her desire to change.
Meanwhile, Andre visited Nicole, who was relieved to hear he was moving on from Ashley. However, Ashley wasn’t moving on from him. Even though she had a supportive boyfriend, Derek, she couldn’t stop thinking about Andre. As Derek prepared her favorite lasagna, Ashley poured herself a glass of wine and reminisced over a collage Andre had made for her. She even attempted to pass it off to her mother, revealing her lingering attachment.
At the Hamilton house, Hayley continued to struggle with feeling like an outsider. Fairmont Crest’s elite had yet to accept her, and Bill’s dismissive attitude only worsened things. When she suggested calling off the wedding, Bill told her to toughen up and ignore the town’s snobbery. Frustrated, she accused him of enjoying her misery as much as Dani did. To make amends, Bill surprised her with a romantic dinner at home, though it wasn’t the grand Italian getaway she had hoped for.
Elsewhere, Eva planned for a quiet night of binge-watching TV, but Leslie had other plans. Using Eva’s access to the Richardson house, Leslie saw an opportunity for revenge. She warned Eva to stay away from Tomás, calling him a “creeper,” before shifting focus to her latest scheme—staging an event centered on Ted’s anniversary with Nicole to expose him as a fraud. Confident in their plan, Leslie set the stage for drama to unfold.
