In the Friday, May 30 episode of Beyond the Gates, Anita finally came face-to-face with the third member of the Articulettes. The one she’ll have more of a difficult time with, considering the woman hung up on her recently. Plus, Kat was still in investigative mode, this time bringing Mona and even Nicole along for the ride. And Eva finally got one up on her mom. But we’re here to discuss a couple we can’t stop thinking about. We need them to get their acts together: Dani and Andre.
Small Revelations
While Andre (Sean Freeman) would love to blast this new relationship to whoever wants to hear about it, Dani (Karla Mosley) thinks differently. She says she doesn’t want Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) to find out, especially with what she’s going through. But, honestly, would Nicole actually mind? She has already expressed her curiosity about Dani and Andre.
Nope, Dani is keeping a lid on this relationship for a reason, even though if people knew, it would potentially make Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) jealous. Well, after he had fun noting how much younger Andre is than Dani. However, both Dani and Andre made baby steps in Friday’s episode. Dani came clean to Pamela (Cady McClain) about her situationship, or whatever their friends-with-benefits type dynamic should be classified as.

Meanwhile, Andre revealed his relationship to Ted (Keith D. Robinson), who needed something to think about other than Ms. Leslie/Dana (Trisha Mann-Grant) stalking him. Pamela, who tried to set up Dani with some hot, young jeweler, was happy to hear that Dani wasn’t stewing at home thinking about Bill or reacting to Bill and his so-called child bride. Dani said she was fine, thank you very much. But she wasn’t ready to take everything public with the photographer.
Andre, however, was ready to take things public, but he’s cool going at Dani’s speed, for now. Ted’s reaction to hearing the news was fun. His nephew was dating his sister-in-law. As a result, he tried to school his nephew on being with the Dupree women. He talked about how if he treated Dani with anything less than the love and respect he deserved, not even his plastic surgery skills would be able to put Andre back together again.

Why We Can’t Stop Thinking About Them
It’s great that both Dani and Andre have told people in their lives. Now we can get insight into how they feel about each other. Andre thinks that he’s way more into Dani than she is into him. Although he has an inkling that she feels more about him than she’s admitting. He also said this about her:
When we first started, I thought we were having some interlude with a hot former model. What I’ve got now is sex with benefits, friendship, laughter, deep conversations. Man, she’s a woman who brings out my protective instincts, you know? She challenges my deeper sense of self. And she wants us to be a secret.
Andre is ready for more. Dani isn’t sure what she’s ready for, but she needs to know that with Andre, she has someone who values her and sees her worth. And he won’t take advantage of her vulnerabilities and her flaws. He will challenge her just as much as she does him. We want the best for both Dani and Andre, and that’s why we feel they would make a perfect couple. They bring out the best in each other, and when they’re not at their best, they’re there for each other.
This situationship has been going on practically since the series began a few months ago, and hopefully, the show will continue to cultivate it because Dani and Andre also have tremendous chemistry. Someday, we’d love for them to be able to say, “Bill, who?” And “Ashley (Jen Jacob), who?” And mean it.
