Beyond the Gates is merely 17 episodes away from hitting a milestone: its 100th episode on the air. Unfortunately, before the episode count increases, fans will have to deal with a pause in the regularly scheduled programming. This coming week, CBS is serving up BTG repeats each day of the week. However, they aren’t just any encores. They are the show’s very first five episodes that premiered at the tail end of February, which feature the original Ted and lead up to Dani brandishing a gun at Hayley and Bill’s wedding.
The Beginning
Needless to say, fans aren’t happy to hear about this one-week pause of the current episodes. After all, the secret surrounding Martin’s tragic night two years ago was in an exciting place. Dani and Andre were about to face yet another obstacle. And it’s highly possible that Hayley is faking her pregnancy.
BTG Creator Michele Val Jean responded to fans’ reactions and questions on social media, saying, “To those asking: preemption-rerun decisions are made way above my pay grade so no insight into that. The good news is the upcoming reruns are premiere week so those of you who missed it can catch up with how it all began. #BeyondTheGates #BTG”
And she also showed respect for how much the fans love BTG. In a separate post, Val Jean said, “Just want to say to our #BeyondTheGates peeps, I love your passion for the show. And I thank you for it. #BTG“

Despite CBS airing BTG encores from June 30-July 4, we did get an early look at what’s going down the week of July 7. At the end of Friday’s episode, a juicy preview included a couple of potentially huge developments — one we saw coming and one we didn’t.
First, Leslie and Hayley are seated at the same Orphey Gene’s table. What do they have to talk about? Second, Dani catches Ashley and Andre out on their date. Dani isn’t happy.
