As suspected, once Tomas and Eva hooked up, he would realize he was more sexually compatible with Eva than he was with Kat. In the Monday, September 29 episode of Beyond the Gates, Tomas and Eva slept together, and Kat discovered a towel-clad Tomas at Eva’s place post-shower.
The Couch Chronicles Continue
Tomas (Alex Alegria) and Eva (Ambyr Michelle) were inevitable. The so-called friends have been dancing around each other for months now. And on Monday, Tomas helped Eva move back into the condo she once shared with her mom after learning that Leslie (Trisha Mann-Grant) bought it for her.
Of course, the conversation turned to Tomas and Kat (Colby Muhammad) and how she wasn’t returning his calls. And on top of that, she made him feel like he was bad in bed. Eva assured him that he shouldn’t think like that. He has never gotten complaints before, right?
Eva eventually took the leap and kissed Tomas, and he wasn’t mad at it. In fact, they took it further and had sex…on her couch, of course. Eva gave Tomas a five-star review. The two were in sync the whole way.
Kat Attempts to Make Peace
Meanwhile, Chelsea (RhonniRose Mantilla) overcame an Allison (Brianna Roberts) scare like a boss, and as a result, she and Kat killed their purse line lunch, with the help of Samantha (Najah Jackson).
Afterward, Chelsea convinced Kat to make nice with Eva. In fact, she told her that even before reconnecting with Tomas that she should go to Eva’s and give her one of their designer purses and try to make peace. It’s one of Kat and Tomas’s issues, but certainly not the only one.
Needless to say, her visit to Eva’s didn’t end well. Kat made nice in the way only she can, but Eva was clearly trying to get rid of her. She knew who was in her shower. Ultimately, Tomas walked into the room sporting his tattoos and a towel, and Kat spotted him. According to the Tuesday teasers, Kat will be devastated.
So will this be the final nail in the coffin for Kat and Tomas? It has to be. There’s no explaining this away. Teasers for Tuesday’s episode say that Kat is dealt a devastating blow. Is she too devastated to cause a ruckus at Eva’s? Will she and Tomas get some time alone to speak? And will he blame her for what he did? If they end, will it be with integrity and class or with messiness and shame?
