Vernon and Anita Put On A Happy Face
Articulettes Sharon (Bonita Brisker) and Tracy (Maria Howell) return to Fairmont Crest to reunite with Anita (Tamara Tunie) for WinterFest. The ladies discuss Tracy and Sharon’s meeting with Devon (Bryton James) in Genoa City.
In a touching moment that gave a shoutout to The Young and the Restless and the late great Kristoff St. John (Neil), Anita reveals she has a soft spot for Devon because of his father, Neil. The ladies all look forward to working with Devon.
Just as Tracy teases Sharon about having a secret man in her life, Vernon (Clifton Davis) arrives. The look between Vernon and Sharon speaks volumes, and it’s not the only one they have.
While Anita wanders around WinterFest playing host, Vernon and Sharon steal a moment together that is not two friends catching up. Speaking of Anita, she’s trying way too hard to convince everyone that she’s fine, but her fake smile makes it clear that not all is as it seems with the Dupree matriarch.
What Else Happened On Beyond the Gates?
Naomi (Arielle Prepetit), Kat (Colby Muhammad), and Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix) get ready for WinterFest together. However, things go awry when Kat gets an earful from Nicole and Naomi about how she needs to forgive Eva (Ambyr Michelle).
Kat isn’t here for everyone jumping on the Eva train and decides to ditch the event rather than watch Ted (Keith D. Robinson) parade Eva around at WinterFest. Then she calls Tomas (Alex Alegria) to vent to him, only to have Tomas suggest they move in together.
The move from Tomas came after he got a serious lecture from Ted about playing both of his daughters. Speaking of lectures, Izaiah (David Lami Friebe) got one from Jacob (Jibre Hordges) about Eva.
Jacob isn’t a fan and let Izaiah know she is trouble. The warning fell on deaf ears, though, because Izaiah is feeling Eva and doesn’t plan to stop purifying her.
There was plenty of drama in Fairmont Crest. Jacob and Naomi gave fans loving moments, while Ted was a proud father with Eva on his arm at Winterfest.
