The very first Performer of the Month for Beyond the Gates is an actress whose character has already experienced the highs and lows of being one of Fairmont Crest’s queen bees. We’re talking meltdowns, breakdowns, slaps, threats, tantrums, felonies, and unexpectedly mature moments. She’s got the range to play it all.
March 2025 Performer of the Month
The Nominees
Can we get an “Amen” for Clifton Davis? In the first few weeks of BTG, his presence has been felt. Our favorite moments were: 1) When Vernon and Anita (Tamara Tunie) talked about how they met. 2) Anytime Vernon and Anita made a demand. They expected it to be followed. And 3) When Vernon told Martin (Brandon Claybon) to forget about running for POTUS because of what happened in his past. Davis is the perfect patriarch.
Arielle Prepetit (Naomi) and her character have really impressed us out of the gate. Early on, Naomi and Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) were at an outside location when the attorneys went head-to-head. She basically let him know that since he destroyed their family and was marrying her ex-best friend, her father was now dead to her. That was one of the show’s first great scenes. Prepetit has repeated that energy now that she’s continually going up against her dad with that lawsuit against his firm.
Ambyr Michelle, who plays Eva Thomas, is the runner-up for BTG’s March Performer of the Month. Fans must love the way the actress showed her character’s hardness in scenes with Kat (Colby Muhammad), her biggest rival and potential sister. Eva is turning out to be a complex character who is already questioning her loyalty. She’s torn between revenge and just wanting her father to acknowledge her and love her. It’s because of Michelle that we’re so caught up in Eva’s journey.

The Top Spot
Earning the top spot and the very first BTG actor to be named Performer of the Month is…Karla Mosley! That first week (which was the end of February, yes, we know), Mosley was called on to be this lightning rod of drama as Dani Dupree’s ex-husband wasn’t just getting remarried at the Fairmont Crest Country Club. He and Hayley were moving beyond the gates as well.
Dani had her over-the-top moments, like pulling a gun on the bride and groom at the wedding. She threatened Bill with a golf club, and she slapped Hayley something fierce. But as the weeks continued, we started to see Dani become this layered character. She broke down before our very eyes, but she still attempted to hide just how shattered she was. She made stupid decisions like breaking into Hayley and Bill’s house.
But then, in the next breath, she would set aside her pain to be the emcee for her sister’s event. Or she shoved down her insecurities to tell her daughter, who decided to quit modeling and start her own business, that she was proud of her. Dani Dupree is more than the woman who gave the best mugshots ever after her arrest. She’s frayed but not broken. She’s so full of regrets, but she’s also formidable. Mosley was just the soap veteran BTG needed to pull off everything the show asked her to do.
