We now know how Hayley and Randy are connected on Beyond the Gates. In the Tuesday, October 14 episode, Hayley was pushed over the edge after witnessing Dani and Bill kiss. She suddenly showed up at Joey’s casino looking all sorts of livid.

Relative Connections
If you recall, a couple of months ago, during Hayley’s brief pregnancy era, she started experiencing stomach pains at Uptown in Dani’s presence. Instead of letting Dani (Karla Mosley) take her to the hospital to get checked out, she let a relative stranger take her instead. But viewers knew that the stranger was actually Randy (Maurice P. Kerry). However, we had no idea how they were connected. We have been waiting to find out.
In Tuesday’s episode, after Hayley (Marquita Goings) witnessed a nostalgic Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) and Dani kissing, she rushed over to Joey’s casino. The owner asked his employee to close up, and while he did so, he cut the cameras and waited for Hayley to arrive. Because she needed to talk to him. She entered the casino raging at Bill’s audacity to kiss Dani after all that Hayley had laid down (her words).
A distressed Hayley warned Randy that “it’s time to lock in, cuz.” CUZ. Randy and Hayley are cousins. So the first piece of the puzzle to Hayley’s backstory is finally starting to trickle in. This has to mean that her supposed pregnancy was part of some plan that they had concocted.
What’s Their Endgame?
Randy responded, “Hey, you know I got you. What’s the move?” And Hayley replied, “We take his legs from under him. Clean. Fast. Done.” The legs she was referring to had to be Bill’s. So she and Randy have some sort of revenge agenda going against Bill and possibly the Duprees.
And there’s a good chance that Hayley’s every move, from becoming Naomi’s (Arielle Prepetit) bestie to having an affair with Bill, taking him away from Dani, and all the ways she’s attempted to keep him happy post-wedding, is all part of this plan. We also have to look back at Bill’s stroke/illness. Was that something Hayley and Randy helped along? Everything that Hayley has done is suspicious.
And now she’s starting to act unhinged because, potentially, her whole plan is unraveling. Dani and Bill are finding their way back to each other. Did you hear how desperate Hayley was trying to convince Andre (Sean Freeman) to stay married to Dani?
So this isn’t about love for Hayley, right? It’s about revenge, heartbreak, and money? Let’s hope we learn more and more about Hayley and her story in the coming weeks. What is real and what is pure payback?
Bill and Dani and Andre
Right now, it feels like Hayley isn’t even in the picture and that it’s all about this triangle between Bill, Dani, and Andre. Bill has the past on their side. Bill loved Dani’s birthday gift and even flashed back to the time Dani found the perfect office building for his law firm. He’s reliving the good times he and Dani had, and it’s triggering all these emotions in the present.
Meanwhile, Andre and Dani are all about the future — their spin on it, anyway. That’s what Andre wants. He told Dani that he wanted to stay married even though he stubbornly has these lingering feelings for Ashley (Jen Jacob). And Dani’s thinking about Bill.
So what will win out? The past or the future? Or will Hayley destroy it all?
