In the Wednesday, April 9 episode of Beyond the Gates, Samantha wanted to be a model and asked Chelsea for advice and to be her modeling manager. She also broke the news to Smitty. Meanwhile, Andre struggled with his nurses’ documentary, and Nicole took Kat to task for not removing the webcam from her office. Plus, Laura learned some bad, bad news.
Introducing Nurse Lulu Lenhart
The good news is that poor Laura Peterson (Destiny Love) is alive. Ever since week one of BTG, she has been laid up and recovering from being run off the road. The bad news is that she’s not going home from the hospital anytime soon. Apparently, she had a cardiac episode, aka a heart attack.
And she has an infection that is going to take a lot of time to clear — weeks and weeks, even. So, there is no going back to work for her right now. Little does Laura know that there was a direct cause for the high potassium levels found in her system.

Yes, Leslie has added yet another persona to her rotation. Ted (Maurice Johnson) knew her as Dana, but now she goes by Leslie. Then there was Sherry Carter and Anna. She’s collecting fake names and disguises by the day.
In Wednesday’s episode, we finally got a name for the nurse who snuck in and injected Laura’s IV. Her name is Lulu Lenhart, and while Shanice (Ernestine Johnson) acted suspiciously of Lulu, she didn’t call security. In fact, she even told the woman about Laura’s condition and how she wasn’t going to be able to leave the hospital for weeks due to her sudden infection.

Lulu admitted that she was checking on Laura and that a couple of nights ago, she had transferred from the hospital where Laura had her initial operation. Here’s the thing. Shanice is going to need to watch her back. Lulu told the supervising nurse that she would definitely keep her eye out for her. The way she said, “That’s a promise,” didn’t sound like a good thing.
Obviously, BTG’s Shanice needs to be protected at all costs. Look at what’s happened to Laura. Who knows what she could do to Shanice? Leslie’s alter ego escapades could escalate.
