Beyond The Gates has cast Jason Vendryes. The Ruthless actor portrays a mystery character in a recurring role. His character will impact Martin and Clifton on the newest CBS daytime drama.

Deadline reported that Vendryes is joining to soap. He’ll begin airing in May, so fans won’t have very long to wait.
For weeks, it’s been obvious that Martin (Brandon Claybon) has something to hide. He’s having nightmares, and he’s keeping secrets from Smitty (Mike Manning). Plus, it’s obvious that Vernon (Clifton Davis) and Anita (Tamara Tunie) do not want their senator grandson running for president.
Fans may recognize Vendreyes from his role as Agent Slomkowski on BET’s Ruthless. The actor will also appear in One Spoon of Chocolate alongside Paris Jackson, Blair Underwood, and Shameik Moore. His other credits include Too Close to Home, Living V, and Ambitions.
