Born on August 27, 1981, in Westchester County, New York, Mosley grew up with a flair for the dramatic arts. After attending New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, she honed her skills in acting and music, appearing in several stage productions. Mosley’s breakout came on TV when she portrayed Christina Moore in the children’s show Hi-5. The role allowed her to showcase her singing and acting talent as she taught children how to exercise, stretch, and dance.

Mosley became a household name in daytime television thanks to her roles on two iconic soap operas. She portrayed Maya Avant on The Bold and the Beautiful, a groundbreaking role in which her character was among the first transgender leads on daytime TV. Before B&B, she had a notable stint as Christina Boudreau on Guiding Light. Her work in these series earned her acclaim for her emotional depth and authenticity.

Stepping Into Beyond the Gates

In Beyond the Gates, Mosley takes on the complex and thrilling new role of Dani Dupree. Danie is the daughter of Vernon Dupree (Clifton Davis) and wife Anita (Tamara Tunie). Dr. Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix) is Dani’s sister in the new daytime drama.

Mosley’s Dani is a former model turned momager who gave up her career for love. A free-spirited, headstrong, wild child, Dani dropped out of school to pursue her career. She marches to the beat of her own drum.
