Beyond the Gates recap for Wednesday, March 19, saw Dani second-guess her decision-making, Leslie plotting her next move, and a whole lot of love games turning up the heat!

What Happened Today On Beyond the Gates?

Dani (Karla Mosley) had a rough start to the day, quite literally. When Andre (Sean Freeman)showed up for another casual rendezvous, he found her passed out drunk on the kitchen floor. Not exactly the welcome he expected. Dani tried to brush it off with a weak joke, but Andre wasn’t laughing. He knew how bad things could have gone if he hadn’t shown up when he did.

Despite his frustration, Andre agreed to keep Dani’s secret. She feared her friends would stage an intervention if they found out, and Andre had his own reasons for staying quiet, after all, how would he explain being at her place in the first place? Once Dani started sobering up, she clung to Andre, reluctant to let him leave. But while she wasn’t ready to say goodbye to him, she did say farewell to the bottle. In a moment of resolve, she dumped her vodka down the drain. Progress!

Moving On Isn’t Easy

Meanwhile, Andre made his way over to Nicole (Daphnée Duplaix), who was relieved to hear that he was finally moving on from Ashley (Jen Jacob). But was Ashley moving on from him? Absolutely not. Even though she had a perfectly good man in Derek (Ben Gavin) – who was busy cooking up her favorite lasagna – Ashley couldn’t get Andre off her mind.

The moment Derek left for work, she poured herself a glass of wine and wistfully stared at the collage Andre made for her. Just reminiscing about his photography skills, or something more? Given that she tried to pass the collage off to her mother, it’s safe to say Ashley was battling some serious feelings.

Big Moves

Over at the Hamilton house, Hayley (Marquita Goings) struggled with feeling like an outsider. The high-society crowd of Fairmont Crest still hadn’t fully accepted her, and Bill’s dismissive attitude only made things worse. When she suggested they call off the wedding, Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) told her to toughen up and ignore the town snobs. But Hayley wasn’t buying it. “I’m beginning to think you enjoy this just as much as Dani does torturing me,” she said.

Luckily, Bill knew how to smooth things over. He surprised Hayley with a romantic dinner at home. Sure, it wasn’t the Italian getaway she dreamed of, but what was one more disappointment?

Elsewhere, Eva (Ambyr Michelle) planned to spend the night binging trash TV, but Leslie had other ideas. With Eva now having access to the Richardson house, Leslie saw an opportunity for revenge. When Eva mentioned her recent clash with Kat over Tomás, Leslie warned her to steer clear of the so-called “creeper” before shifting gears to her latest scheme. Her new master plan?

Eva needed to organize an event centered around Ted. Most preferably his upcoming anniversary with Nicole, so they could finally expose him for the fraud he was. The stage was set, but would their plan actually work? She was sure of it!
