Karla Mosley plays the hot-tempered Dani on Beyond the Gates. Dani has many enemies in Fairmont Crest and isn’t afraid to call them out. But in real life, Mosley has nothing but kind words for her on-screen rivals.
Best Frenemies
Dani’s main enemy on BTG is Hayley (Marquita Goings), who stole her husband Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett). Hayley and Bill’s affair was the ultimate betrayal to Dani. Hayley was the best friend of the couple’s daughter Naomi (Arielle Prepetit), someone Dani trusted and treated like family. Hayley and Bill’s marriage has increased Dani’s anger and her feud with her husband’s mistress.
Meanwhile, Dani could have another romantic rival. Ms. Dupree has been secretly hooking up with Andre (Sean Freeman). However, the photographer has developed a crush on Ashley (Jen Jacob). Dani is unaware of Andre’s feelings for Ashley, but if she did, she’d be confronting the nurse. While BTG fans are upset with Hayley and Ashley for stealing Dani’s men, Mosley is proud of her co-stars.
In an Instagram post, the actress praised Goings and Jacob for their performances. “Y’all, it’s not always easy to play the person folks love to hate, or the other side of a love triangle,” Mosley wrote. “These two women are not only killing it, but they look amazing while they’re at it.”
Mosley went on to say, “They are some of the best actors and people I know, and I am so lucky to get to be on the playground with them every day. So, remember, if they are making you feel some kind of way it’s because they are THAT GOOD at their jobs.”
Although Hayley is trying to keep the peace, her and Dani’s feud is far from over. As for Ashley, she turned down Andre’s advances. But if Dani finds out about her, then the nurse better watch her back.
