Best Moments November 3-7

Dani and Andre discuss his painful past

Dani (Karla Mosley) wanted to get to the root of why Andre (Sean Freeman) didn’t want to do the Forrester Creations photo shoot. And the newlyweds started discussing a woman from his past. But the real deep and heavy part happened when they started talking about Andre losing his parents.

Andre hasn’t opened up like this to anyone we have seen him talk to. Not even his Uncle Ted (Keith D. Robinson). The pain and the emotion poured out of him as he described his relationship with his parents and what it was like to lose them and be without them. By the end of the conversation, Dani and Andre were closer. Additionally, Andre agreed to participate in the photo shoot, and they decided to establish a charitable foundation in his father’s name.

Joey and Izaiah reconnect

When Izaiah (David Lami Friebe) showed up at Joey’s casino, who knew that the two shared a past that included Izaiah working for him when he was younger? There was real emotion on Joey’s face and pride in his voice when he learned that the Hawthorne had just gotten a job at Banneker as an academic advisor.

This was a Joey (Jon Lindstrom) we hadn’t seen before, not even with Vanessa (Lauren Buglioli). With her, he still has a wall up or two. With Izaiah, it felt like his affection was paternal, and it was a completely opposite feeling from what we got when Elon (Malachi Malik) and Izaiah interacted. It seemed like Joey was the father figure Izaiah looked up to, and Elon was the father he ran away from. It was a very interesting dynamic, and we would like to see more.

Andre makes a choice

During the week of November 3-7, one of the notable plot twists was when Ashley (Jen Jacob) walked in on a paralyzed Derek (Ben Gavin) standing on his two feet. He couldn’t walk yet, but Ashley deduced he had held back the details of his recovery because he didn’t want to lose her. He manipulated her (which he basically admitted). Two seconds after she and Derek ended their engagement, she texted Andre.

He came over to her place after having strengthened his relationship with Dani. And so when Ashley asked him if there was any shot of them being together, he said that he was all in on his marriage to his wife. He chose Dani, and we rejoiced. We just hope they don’t change their minds anytime soon. Being in love with Dani is like living life at a whole new level. Andre may be adventurous, but it doesn’t seem like he enjoys being out of his comfort zone.

Hayley shows her true colors with her cousin Randy

We are all for Hayley (Marquita Goings) sharing her opinions on life, love, and murder whenever she wants. Hayley showed up at Joey’s casino to tell Randy (Maurice P. Kerry) he needed to make things right with Joey. She told him that he had no right to tell his boss that she was cheating on Bill with him. He needed to tell Joey the fake truth. He gave her a ride to the hospital after her so-called miscarriage.

After they wrapped up that part of the conversation, the cousins discussed Bill (Timon Kyle Durrett) and how she had convinced him to buy her a vacation home. And she filled Randy in on her thoughts about men (she’ll never love them). She also shared her thoughts on Dani and said she will never understand why the woman would give up her supermodel career for someone who isn’t all that.

Bill’s just a man. He’s the last one in a long line of dupes. Hayley is ready to kill, collect, and then move on. Later in Tuesday’s episode, she resumed her plan and laced her husband’s tea with the poison Randy secured.
