A Word from Stacy Carey

I chose this career because I have always had a passion for writing and found that pouring that passion into writing about soap operas was a wonderful fit for me. After years of gossiping with my mother and aunts about the latest soap storylines and cast member shenanigans, I now get to follow it all and write about it for a living. 

I began writing as a junior high and high school student, and continued that through college. I worked in direct mail marketing for several years before shifting focus to freelance writing about topics I personally enjoy. 

Outside of work, I enjoy writing, reading, listening to podcasts, and walking, as well as managing a busy household of two kids and several cats.
