A Word from Rachel Dillin
I chose this career because of my love of writing and my history of watching soap operas with my grandmother and mom during my formative years. In junior high and high school, I had English teachers who encouraged my writing, and I knew I wanted to be a writer at age 13.
I began writing in junior high, and in college, I was the editor of my college newspaper. After that, I got a job writing website content. As the internet grew, I had opportunities to write about soap operas for various online publications, and those continued until I ended up at Soap Hub in 2016.
Outside of work, I serve my community as a member of my local school district’s school board. My personal interests include taking dance classes, performing with my dance company, practicing yoga, going for long walks, reading books, and baking.
