Whether it’s been articles, books, lyrics, or fanfiction as a teen, I’ve been writing most of my life. And somehow, writing about my favorite soaps has always found its way into what I do. I often say soaps helped teach me how to write; dialogue, character development, and, of course, cliffhangers.
I started watching soaps when I was 13, joining my family of General Hospital fanatics in religiously watching every day. My love for the characters and actors who portray them drove me to attend several soap events over the years, and even have the opportunity to interview some of my favorites. In 2020, I participated in GH and Days alum Jen Lilley’s Voices That Give competition, where I won the Unique Talent category as an author.
When I’m not writing or watching soaps, you’ll find me pursuing my other love: dancing. If it’s not dance classes and performances, it’s learning or choreographing new dances to my favorite songs to post on social media.
